Create Your Own Trader Joe’s Charcuterie Board
Good morning friends! How was your weekend? The most exciting thing that happened here was my washing machine arrived. I ordered it in August! Can you believe it took so long to get here?!
TRADER JOE’S CHARCUTERIE BOARD
Today, I’m sharing a combo Trader Joe’s haul/charcuterie board. I love putting together a board for weekend afternoons, easy dinners or for entertaining. There’s really no wrong or right way to do it- just assembling the things you enjoy nibbling on is perfect! It’s fun to arrange all the items into a colorful display of edible art.
WHAT’S ON A CHARCUTERIE BOARD
Below are the delicious bites that appear on most charcuterie boards:
- Cured meats
- Cheese
- Olives
- Nuts
- Dried Fruit
- Crackers or baguette bread
- Jelly or jam
And the good thing is, I can usually assemble a board like this on a Thursday evening, and we can enjoy it throughout the whole weekend. A little tends to go a long way!
Let’s start with the gorgeous board, my dear friend Rhonda gifted this to me! I LOVE it!!! Such a thoughtful gift with the name personalization and I’m crazy for the script font!
If you haven’t ‘met’ Rhonda yet, she’s the genius behind Rhonda’s chocolate chip cookies (recipe in this post), and she works with me on behind the scenes things for my blog. I’ve convinced her to join me and Ali-Shaun for our annual Black Friday style-a-friend post and I think you tall ladies will really appreciate that. She’s 5’9! 🙂
Below is everything I put on this board. I forgot the fig jam- but that’s a great addition too and tastes so good when you assemble cheese and fig jam on a cracker.
CURED MEAT // Salami (but I also love adding thinly sliced prosciutto)
CHEESE // Manchego, Goat, Brie & Toscano
OLIVES // Pitted Greek kalamata
NUTS // Dry roasted salted almonds
DRIED FRUIT // Mission figs (the small bite size of these is great)
FRESH FRUIT // Seedless grapes and sliced pear
CRACKERS & BAGUETTE BREAD // Fig & Olive Crisps, Brioche Toasts, Cauliflower Crisps (really light & yummy)
JELLY OR JAM // Fig jam
EXTRA // Cornichons (for that crunchy, tart bite)
My SIL, but I consider her a “real” sister since she’s been part of our family since high school- and I made our plans for Thanksgiving this week. I’ll be hosting at my house, but we’ll share cooking duties. One thing that’s always on the appetizer menu is a cheese board. I think this one looks so pretty with the Thanksgiving table!
It’ll be a small group this year since my other brother and his family are going out of town this year.
What’s your favorite thing to put on a charcuterie board? I’ve also seen some really cute dessert boards. We could have lots of fun with that for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Now let’s go kick Monday’s booty!
That personalized cutting board is a genius gift idea (I know that’s not the point of this post, but…!)
I am in love with that personalized board! One of our favorite things to add to a charcuterie board is deli pepperoni! It goes great with the cheeses and crackers!
If you haven’t tried Trader Joe’s Le Delice de Bourgogne you are missing out! It is a triple cream soft cheese imported from France which is amazing. It is kinda of stinky but it’s even better than brie.
Thank you so much for sharing that Laura! I’ll definitely be trying that!
Hi, the link isn’t working for the Personalized Board….HELP!!! I love it, want to order one for a Christmas present for a friend 🙂
Looks pretty. We also like to add the little cocktail onions.
