Hi friends! We’re finally drying out from tropical storm Beta, which closed our school for two days. Thankfully, we didn’t have any flooding in our neighborhood, but Houston has notoriously poor drainage systems, so I hope everyone stayed safe and dry!
The kids are back to school today, I’m off to do a workout (it’s day 24 if you’re counting!), and then it’s date night!! 😉
The Old Navy Sweatshirt I Can’t Stop Wearing
Today, I’m sharing the Old Navy Sweatshirt I can’t stop wearing and multiple ways to wear it. Of course, I’m still partial to the loungewear look since I work from home and top priority is being comfortable.
That having been said, I enjoy sharing ways to stretch your wardrobe and give you outfit inspiration that you can use when creating your own looks.
The sweatshirt I’ve been wearing nonstop is the Loose Fit French Terry Crewneck Tunic (on sale $25, regularly $25). It’s incredibly soft and comfortable, with modern stitching at the shoulders, a great tunic length, and a little side v-cut. It comes in several colors, the grey is in my cart now.
It’s one workhorse of a sweatshirt, giving you tons of outfit options, by just changing out the bottoms, layering a jacket, swapping shoes, and adding accessories.

OUTFIT #1
Of course you can’t go wrong with a tunic sweatshirt and leggings this time of year. I’d normally wear mine with sneakers, but if you want to dress your outfit up a bit, wear a bootie instead.
The leggings are the ones we’re all crazy for – the Amazon Ponte Leggings. You’ve probably heard me talking about them before, but if you’re new to them, the thing that’s so great is that they’re almost more like a legging pant.
The material is thicker and more opaque than a traditional workout legging, so these are perfect to wear as an outfit. You’ll be comfortably smooth all day.
Style Tip: I like to show a little ankle with my booties, so if I need to, I’ll cuff my leggings underneath a tad

OUTFIT #2
Adding a jacket always adds extra interest to your outfit, that’s why I’m so partial to my jean jacket and military jacket. But, this camo bomber style jacket is new. I like it because it’s lightweight with a silky feel and cute stripe detail at the cuff and hem.
I got mine at Evereve, but I also found a very similar on on Amazon. In fact, I really like that Amazon one, so I may need to order it!
Now that I’m looking at Outfit #1 and Outfit #2 together, I think it would be super cute to swap out the shoes. The sneakers would look great with Outfit #1 and the booties would look great with Outfit #2!
That’s the awesome thing about mixing and matching, endless options!

We still have our fair share of really warm weather, so sweatshirts and jean shorts it is! To make it feel more like Fall, just add a bootie!
Old Navy Sweatshirt • Jean Shorts • Booties
Shorts Fit: These run large, I sized down one to a 24

OUTFIT #4
Now gimme some jeans and a flat shoe that I can feel put together in, but it isn’t at all fussy! I also wanted to try a new style jean, and these are Express Super High Waisted jeans with a button fly, raw hem and slim ankle style. At barely 5’1, I like them okay with flats, but I think they’d look better with a heel.
They’re on sale $39 now, was $79.

Jeans Fit: I’m wearing a 0S
OUTFIT #5
And don’t forget about white jeans! I’m still rockin’ mine, what about you? I wear mine year round. This Kut from the Kloth pair is probably my ‘go to’ because I like how opaque they are and they fit really well, more like a jean and less like a jegging if you know what I mean.

OUTFIT #6
Have you joined us this month for the Fitness Challenge?! We only have one week to go! I’m feeling like I’ve made progress and I love how we encourage each other. ♥ I have jumped on the bike short train and I like them, especially for spin classes.
This pair from Core 10 (a great athletic brand on Amazon) is nice because they aren’t too short (5″ inseam), have a supportive high waist and several pockets.
There’s also a hidden zip pocket (where I like to put my car key when I run).
If you’re looking for even longer bike shorts, try these– they’re 9.5 inch inseam. They’d practically be pants on me, but you taller ladies may appreciate them!
Old Navy Sweatshirt • Bike Shorts • Leopard Sneakers
Shorts Fit: These fit TTS, but I sized up to a Small so they’d have a little room. These also come in plus sizes, up to 3x.
OUTFIT #7
You could easily throw this puffer vest over outfit #6, above, but I also like it with jeans and booties!

Now we’re talkin’! This is how you can most often find me wearing this sweatshirt- with this adorable pair of camo joggers! The joggers have a cute neutral camo print and a soft, warm fleece inside. The drawstring waist is adjustable, so you can tighten and release as necessary. 😉
Joggers Fit: I’m wearing an XS
OUTFIT #9
If you want to take this outfit out into the real world, add a jean jacket and pair of sneakers and you’re good to go!

NEW COZIES
I’m also excited to share few pieces from the latest Gibson collaboration with The Mother Chic. The collection is full of all things cozy and cute, just what we can’t get enough of!
At Gibson, use my code : HONEY20 to get 20% off your order!
The tee is a soft, burnout style tee with a cool double raw edge hem. It’s soft enough for lounging, but also appropriate to take out of the house. It’s long enough to front tuck, tie or leave out.
The shorts are so sweet! I adore the tie dye-ish print, as well as the comfy feel. They have an adorable lettuce edge with a drawstring waist.
Oh yes, I’m really showing my age with going from ‘kinda needing reading glasses’ to having multiple pairs! I’m still at the lowest strength, but I’m just so happy I can see so much better with them!
Book • Reading Glasses • Coffee Mug
By the way, this is a book I’m currently really enjoying. It’s all about morning rituals to start your day off in a beautiful way. It’s not as cheesy as it sounds!
One Shoulder Pullover • Lounge Shorts • Slippers
I also tried the cozy, yet sassy, one shoulder top. It’s made of a super soft french terry material that shows off one shoulder. I like it with the lounge shorts, but would also wear it with jeans, joggers, or a skirt.
Layer a bralette underneath for a peek of lace.
