Yay for Friday and our quick trip to Magnolia Market in Waco! I’ve wanted to go check it out for soooo long and since we’re only about 3 hours away, it’s about time we went! We’ll be celebrating “Spring at the Silos”, along with 10,000 of our best friends, I’m sure! I’m a little nervous about how much we’ll get to enjoy with all the crowds and Jordan in tow, but I bet everyone else feels the same way! We’ll all just be happy to be there finally! I’ll be sure to keep you posted on my Stories and share a recap when we get back.

And today is Outfits Lately, a big ‘ole round up of what I’ve been wearing lately. If you want more everyday outfit inspiration, I post my daily outfits on Instagram, which is what I’m rounding up for you here today. These aren’t professionally styled photos, just selfies ? sharing my attempts to get out of jean shorts (it happens sometimes!) and get creative with the things in my closet.

For fit reference, keep in mind I’m ridiculously short, just 5’1, about 105 pounds. I often wear petite or size down for the best fit for my frame, but I’m also busty, so that can be a challenging combo.

Looking back, February and March have been big months with Jordan’s first birthday, my birthday, Valentine’s Day, James’ birthday, a bachelorette party, wedding, and Spring Break! I need to go lie down for a month!

Do ripped jeans and black sneaks say, “Monster Jam”?! ??? Here we come! ? ? We took James to see all those monster trucks in action and he was in hog heaven. I will say it was a fun time, just be sure to bring your earplugs. This ripped jeans are a new fave, but I had to size down one size lower than my regular size. The v-neck tee is an easy everyday fave that looks super cute with a little front tuck.

Hope y’all are having a great Saturday! ? Just tried on these tie-waist crop pants and fell in love! ? They’re the ones in my story with Jordan running around my heels – always! ? They are soft and flowy with pockets and look super cute with just a tucked in tank and strappy heels! ? XXS pictured. I ended up wearing this outfit to Jordan’s first birthday party. This is the gorgeous floral dress I was planning to wear to the party, but practicality won out. It’s so pretty with the coral and blue flowers, forgiving A-line shape, and silky smooth. See more pics of this dress on and worn with my favorite jean jacket here.

A lacey top with jeans and strappy sandals were the attire for my now sister-in-law’s bachelorette party. We kept it low key with dinner out and drinks in City Centre- which I highly recommend if you’re in Houston. That’s where we were yesterday if you saw my Story!

I styled this snappy navy & white sheath dress for you 5 ways, including your most requested “wear to work” look here. It fits TTS, XS pictured, but I’m only 5’1, so unaltered, it hits just below my knee. It has a flattering scoop back too. ? This bright Spring look was one of my faves. I love this style heel so much, I have about 4 pair in different colors. Just a classic, pretty heel that fits comfortably.

Gingham Top XS

This was the top I wore out to my birthday lunch with the fam, but unfortunately Jordan projectile vomited all over it while we were out. Luckily, she was just fine after and the shirt washed well.

Here’s a better look at those ripped jeans and the pink heels on. The white off-shoulder top is darling and you can wear a strapless bra with it. How fun are the tassel earrings too?!

Felt so much like Spring here today! ? I spent the day crossing off errands that have been on my ‘to do’ list forever! Now that I’m using Evernote to capture all those loose ends, the loose ends keep growing! ? At least they’re all in one place now! • These perforated peep toe booties (size down one) are a great transitioning to Spring item, cute ruffle sleeve top is only $35, and accessories are old, but I found similar for ya (under $25)! ?

Skinny cargo pants for the win!? This pair is super cute with pockets and look great cuffed with booties, flats or dressed up with strappy heels. They come in 7 colors (even pink and camo) regular & petite (0P) on me but still a tad big in the waist.

All the birthday parties are DONE and I’m gonna sleep for a week! ? Here’s a peek at my freshly painted closet – SherwinWilliams Alabaster. It’s nice and white and bright now, a fresh start! ✨But, it’s oil based paint and still smells! Do you have tips to remove the odor? I’ve tried vinegar in bowls, baking soda on the carpet, fabreeze. . . Help! It’s been a week! *UPDATE: I bought this on your recommendation and it worked wonders!

I’m loving breaking out the white jeans again, although I really do wear them year round, but definitely more often when the weather warms up. This day was perfect for a light sweater and comfy flat sandals for running around in with Jordan. You can see her bottle peeking out from my purse!

This is that same pocket v-neck tee that I’m wearing in first pic. It’s so soft and also comes in grey and white (which I’m sure I need!). These cotton shorts are a style I like to wear even though they’re short. They have pockets and a cute side embroidery.

I felt so grateful that Courtney came all the way from California to Texas to visit me and the fam! We had such a good time while she was here. This pic was snapped on her first night here when I took her out for a drink at Tasting Room.

I also got to have a lunch date with Veronika and Sara, which was a fun treat! I love getting together with my girlfriends, and always leave these dates feeling so happy we made the effort to see each other in person. It’s worth it! My exact denim tank is old, so I linked a similar version. I’m wearing them with my wedge heels that thankfully a reader emailed me to let me know were back in stock in my size! This pair is super cute too and on sale!

Here’s to the bride & groom ? with a special shout out to the handsome ring bearer! ? We love you Austin & Carrie! ? I felt like the angels started signing when I tried on this dress! ? You know when you put something on and just feel great in it?! My mom’s dress for the wedding was navy, so I was hoping to find something we’d coordinate in. I love the asymmetric top and embellished bling at the shoulder. The fabric is crushed taffeta and gives a nice texture to the dress. I’m so happy you can’t see my strapless bra in it! I got it altered just a tad to bring up the length (it originally hit me just below the knee and took the waist in a smidge).

Dang, it was chilly today, but my military jacket (on sale, under $50!) ? sure came in handy! It’s one of my most worn items with jeans, dresses, shorts, but size down bc it runs big. ? Fingers crossed for warm, sunny temps tomorrow because Spring Break starts now! ☀️??
