And all good things must come to an end, but not before one.last.look at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale before the prices go up on Monday! I feel like so much stuff sold out early this year that I’ve learned my lesson for next year, but there are still lots of goodies still in stock.
I went through the sale departments yesterday and found even more goodness still available (at least it was then, so hopefully it is now!) and made 3 collages for you. You can check out my snapchat or insta story (@honeywerehome) to see how I make the collages.
And if you’re done shopping for yourself, you can get a head start on your Christmas shopping now! Hello, Santa!!
My ‘last but certainly not least’ purchase from the sale is this awesome black leather jacket by Hinge. I saw it on the rack and immediately liked it, especially when I felt the soft fabric, but it’s still pricey at $219, but even more so after the sale ($329). As soon as I tried it on though, I knew it would be a wear-forever kind of jacket that I’ll get so much use out of when it gets cooler in Houston or if I want to travel with it. It fits like a dream and even the inner lining is super soft. See it live on Snap!
This fit and flare dress is super cute on with the cutout detail. My nursing boobs made it too snug in the top or else it would’ve been a keeper!
Everly dress(XS) | necklace | booties
I’ve gotten very fond of dresses that aren’t so body con lately. This one shows a bit of sexy shoulder and a slight v-neckline, but is still loose and swingy on the bottom. It’s soft like sweater material too.
turtleneck tunicXS | similar leggings | similar black boots | necklace
If you’re like me, a sucker for super duper soft, lightweight fabric, you’ll love this tunic top. It’s the thing you’ll put on after work on Friday and not take off until Monday morning. LOVE it! It comes in different colors too.
Below, I went ahead and recapped ALL of my Nordstrom sale favorites from when the sale first began. I didn’t want to make you have to go back to different pages to find the outfits I put together, so I combined them here, with just a single picture or two of each one.
FIT – Faux Leather Jacket: This jacket runs small. I would normally wear XS, but I’m in a Small here and I wouldn’t be able to wear a heavy sweater underneath it because it would be too tight in the arms. I like this style of jacket more fitted anyway, and would wear thinner tops with it like above or a tee-shirt or tunic type top.
These Grey jeans were featured in the catalog and I found them in my store, but only in size 24, so I squeezed into them! The 25 (my regular size) would’ve fit better. They did feel thin and like they might not last too long after lots of washes, you’d probably have to be careful with them
Oh, this sweater was super soft and cozy! It’s the kind of shirt you want to snuggle up with a hot latte. Would be really cute with black jeans. It comes in solid colors too if the stripes feel too much.
The pants I knew I had to have as soon as I put them on! They are so genuinely soft and comfortable and don’t pull or gap in any weird places! They look professional, but aren’t at all stuffy and you feel like you can b r e a t h e in them! They are kind of like work-style leggings. After you get them, come back and tell me how much you love them! I called the seamstress in right away so I could get a couple inches taken off the length (I rolled them under in the photo). I’m gonna say size down in them because I was a 0P.
UGG Ava Tall Suede Bootnow $149.90, after sale $224.95
They come in 4 colors, but the grey is what I chose. They fit like a dream, but do have that classic UGG shearling inside, so it’s going to be too hot for a warmish day, but perfect for winter/cold days.
