I found some really cute dresses and cardigans to share with you this week and detailed the weekend sales you might be interested in. Meanwhile, I’ll be catching up on my house cleaning and getting ready for school to start on Wednesday! Yikes!
I’m a big fan of the wrap-dress and Banana Republic does them beautifully, in some cool patterns and at a great price. They are perfect work-to-dinner options that flatter every body type. In the winter, I wear them with tights and boots, but for now, sandals or heels.
Adore this dress that looks like a skirt and shirt combo in creamy neutrals. The little slits on the side of the skirt are a detail I like too.
And I found some reasonably-priced cardigan options that will be great for fall and winter.
Geo Drape Front Cardigan (online only) $58. This one had sold out previously, but is back in stock. It’s gotten good reviews, but most people recommended a size smaller than you normally wear. It seemed like that was the feedback on all of these, actually. I like it so much, but think it would swallow me, so I got the Frenchi one.
Woven Heart Print Open Cardigan ($48)
I ordered a small in this one (didn’t see the XS option). It didn’t have any reviews, maybe I’ll be the first one! 😉
This jacket got 4 stars with 62 reviews and those who love it said it feels like a sweatshirt, but looks like a jacket. It’s perfect for looking more pulled together, but still super comfortable. I ordered regular XS- such a good deal at under $40!
I would go so far as to say that every woman needs a belt like this in her wardrobe. I’m surprised how often I reach for mine- it goes with almost everything and gives your outfit an effortless boost of style.
A whole stack of blingy bangles for only $18! I like the mix of metal finishes here.
I’m crazy for this mint + gold necklace. Really cool.
I have a necklace like this in aqua that I love, but you can’t beat this price- $20!

I love the Kendal dress too. Not sure what size to get though since it is juniors. I bought one of the geometric wrap dresses from BR and something about it was just off. I'm 5'6" and it hit knee level. With the long sleeves, long length and bold pattern it just didn't look that great.
I'll let you know how it works for me- I'm only 5 foot, so we'll see . . . Thanks for sharing your experience- I think the reviews help so much for deciding on what size to order.
Goodness, you found some great deals! Love those necklaces. I cannot WAIT for fall. I'm over this Houston heat and really want to break out the booties and wraps and cardigans. I have a couple of the open cardigans in those prints and they are awesome.
