Happy weekend, friends!! I’m looking at the calendar realizing that we’re almost at May and that means there’s only 1 month of school left! How in the world did we get to the end of the school year so soon?!?! This is a big one with kindergarten graduation coming up. I actually just got choked up even typing those words. At 6 years old, the person that was once my little baby, is now a full-fledged, independent boy with a mind and personality all his own. Before I take a big turn down sappy lane, let’s switch gears and get to the fashion!
outfits lately
*for sizing purposes, keep in mind I’m a super shorty (5’0 or 5’1 on a good day, athletic build, and currently about 115 pounds, with those 5-10 extra pounds (mostly) in my postpartum belly and nursing boobs! I always put the size I’m wearing in purple italics for you for reference.
First up, a date night look in this polka dot blouse that hides dessert! paired with hot pink heels for a punch. I’m also wearing my new fave white skinny jeans!
On Saturday, we got to go to the pool. After days and days of rain, we suddenly had the clearest blue skies and sunshine all around. Grandma came over and babysat Jordan while my hubby, James and I hit the pool for a little while.
Of course, I already have two pool outfits ready for Miss Jordan . . . .

Man, I wish this dress fit, it’s darling in person! I couldn’t get the back to zip all the way up! If you’re smaller up top, it would be super cute on you for summer. Think of all the parties you could wear it to and accessorize the neckline!
Leith tank dress (XS)
This dress got great reviews as being a great day to night dress with a racerback. But, it’s so big, even the XS is swallowing me! Definitely order a size down!

Of course, my love of rompers never ends! This one is cute and ties in the back, also comes in olive and green. Beware the material is crepey, 98% polyester/2% spandex.

I love the polka dot top paired with white jeans and the fun pop of color on the shoes. I think it looks fantastic on you…makes you look tall and lean.

Oh that white dress is lovely! I'd never have known it didn't fit from looking at the front. Did you have one of those moments of thinking "it's so lovely, I could just wear it with a cardigan…"? ?
That didn't occur to me. Also, it may have fit after I'm done nursing, but I already returned it. 🙁
