After sharing peeks into her young son’s “big boy” room, my good friend Courtney (A Thoughtful Place) recently revealed the whole room:) I am such a fan of how she pulled the room together and adore her color combination and personal touches. You can see more photos of the room and read about the handmade projects on her blog here.
Isn’t her son absolutely adorable enjoying his reading nook?
The toy closet is genius!

A fun, interesting and personal gallery wall.
Our son is barely two and has never crawled out of his crib, so we’re in no hurry to get him in a “big boy” bed, but this room sure is inspiring me for the future! AWESOME job Court! I’m sure G loves it!
*And I also wanted to mention that Courtney is a contributor to the online decor and lifestyle magazine, House of Fifty, and their latest issue is out today. Go HERE to read it:)
Isn't it gorgeous! I follow her blog too and am very inspired! Currently working on my own little one's 'big boy' bedroom conversion. Love the ideas here!

So gorgeous! Too bad I have a boy and a girl sharing the same room. That limits me a lot as far as decorating goes. I would love if you could share some ideas for shared bedrooms!!
She did such an awesome job! I have definitely filed this room away for some inspiration in the future. I love, love, love that cute green dresser!
Beautiful post and tribute to Courtney's amazing work!! It's really a stunning room! 🙂
Isn't his room fantastic?!!! Love the color combo. Got my App for House of Fifty yesterday. So excited!!!
Great room! I love the color scheme. 🙂 I think I am waaay behind on my House of Fifty Reading. I have the best intentions, and then I have to close out the screen and I forget to go back and read. :s
I am currently looking for an inspiration for my little boy's nursery who is coming when I give birth to him this April. 😀 And this room by Courtney is perfect! 😀
What a cheerful room to grow up in! The colors and patterns really make the space but it will be no trouble to change up when her little guy gets older. Love the repurposed dresser and dressing up the bed with new hardware. Beautifully done!
What a cute space for a little boy. I love it! I love the colors in the room as well. Isn't he just the cutest thing ever reading in his chair?

so perfect!
Oh yeah Courtney did an awesome job! The room is so perfect for her boy!
Courtney did a beautiful job! Great color combination and I love the stripes and polka dots together. She is so talented. I think my favorite part of the room is the tree and the special meaning it holds. Getting ready to download HOF on my iPad now!
OMG I love this but I thought it was for a tween girl's room! HAHA! The tree/birds is SO feminine! Looks like a girl room in some pics. Love the toy closet, though.
I've been obsessing over the wide navy and white stripes in the toy closet. I had pinned something similar a few months ago.
My 2.5 year old boy is still happy in his crib, so I'm happy to leave him there:) But we do have a similar color scheme: navy and blue with pops of lime and white.
What a great picture of that sweet little guy sitting in his own chair!
I want a room like that! Wow! Beautiful
What a fantastic boys room!!!!
Courtney did such an awesome job with this room! It is adorable, but in a big boy way of course! 🙂 Courtney has such great style!
That's such a sweet and stylish boy's room. I finally put House of Fifty on my iPad. Love!

I love the colors she used for his room. They really make the space seem large. My favorite piece of artwork in the room is the one that says "Share your toys, by order of the management". Too cute!
Love the color scheme! We are doing something similar in my littlest guys room! The gallery wall is my favorite!
Oh this room turned out so nice. I really like that green!
Love how fresh and cleverly styled and organized this room looks.

Amazing! What a great room.
LOVE it!
I love the colors and how the room looks styled, yet still livable. Really cute and youthful. I wish it were my sons room!
Yeah mother knows best. and being a good mother you cannot afford seeing your son's bedroom in great mess! i can say she has a creativity. I'm sure she is happy seeing her son happy and comfortable with the room design. i will take time to bookmark your blog for ease of access.
Courtney is so fabulous! I always smile when I see her spaces. She really has a great design eye.
It's fun to see her featured here.
xoxo!
