My Amazon Wardrobe

Hi friend! Yay for Friday! And thank you for your thoughtful comments on my Retiring Early post. That kind of content is what fills my heart. I’m so thankful you are with me on these topics!

This weekend we’re looking forward to my daughter’s baseball game and celebrating Mother’s Day with a nice lunch. My son will be out of town at his school’s 8th grade trip, but I know they’ll be having a blast. I’m almost done with his scrapbook! 🙂

Your Faves This Week

I love seeing what y’all love and here’s what topped your list this week!

My Amazon Wardrobe

Instead of a new Amazon order, I’m switching it up and sharing some of the pieces that I already own and wear on repeat from Amazon.

I have several pieces from Amazon that I really like wearing, they’ve held their shape, fit and flatter, plus they’re all very affordable.

My Amazon Closet

I chose 16 of my favorite Spring pieces and I’ll show you different ways to style them below. If you enjoy this post, I can do another one for Summer, Fall and Winter. Let me know!

Amazon Shorts

Linen Shorts

I found the cutest pull-on shorts and they’re in such a fun color. They are really lightweight and comfy, but not super thick. With the pink, I prefer flesh toned undies. They come in several colors and I just ordered the black.

Jean Shorts

These jean shorts are super stretchy and perfectly relaxed with a light wash and distressing. They’ll be easy to throw on for lake life, chill weekends or vacay. They come in several washes, I’m wearing “B-light blue.”

Faux Leather Shorts

These shorts are a great alternative to a dress for a night out. They have a paperbag waist and you can wear them for all seasons, depending on how you style them.

Amazon Pants

Linen Pants

I’m crazy for these paper bag waist pants as an outfit, but they also work well as a swim coverup. They feel easy breezy on and they’ve been on major deal lately.

The pair I’m wearing here, I purposely shrunk in the washer/dryer, so if you want them to stay the size they arrive, don’t machine dry.

*Also, all the colors are great, except for the white- that pair has a weird lining to the thigh that shows through.

Amazon Jeans

Button Front Jeans

These are fun jeans! They’re a stretchy denim in a darker wash that pull-on over your hips. Instead of a traditional zip fly and single button closure, they have 4 exposed buttons and double front pockets. They sit high on the waist with a crop, flare leg. I think they’re fabulous! I ordered the white, but they’re not here yet.

Jeans Fit : I’m wearing size 4, so okay to size up one.

White Jeans

The jeans are so good. They’re by Levi’s with a high waist and straight leg. They’re perfectly opaque and a great alternative to your white skinnies.

Jeans Fit : I sized up to a 26 since they don’t have much stretch. They were a bit long on me so I simply cut the hem and left it with a raw edge.

Amazon Tops

Colorblock Top

Although I usually prefer neutrals, in Spring and Summer, I like pops of color. This top is perfect for in-between weather since it’s a lightweight sweater material in a cap sleeve. I just added the orange one to my cart.

It’s also so cute with the pink shorts shown above.

Pumiey V-Neck Tee

I’m CRAZY for all the Pumiey tops – they are silky smooth and soft, double lined and perfectly simple. You’ll see me in different styles (including the bodysuits) in this post.

This short sleeve style with a v-neck can be worn along or layered under a blazer, cardigan or jacket.

Top Fit : I size up to a Small since they’re fitted.

Lace Trim Cami

Great for layering in the Fall or wearing alone in the Spring or Summer, this lace trim cami has the perfect amount of feminine detail with the lace trim.

Cami Fit : I’m wearing a Small, but just saw they finally have an XS, so I’m ordering that one- I think it’ll fit better.

Striped Button Down Top

Always like a button down because they can look polished, yet casual at the same time. You can also style them several ways – tucked, tied, open or over a swimsuit.

This one is nice and lightweight with cute contrasting stipes in the body and pocket

Graphic Tank

This palm tree tank is soft and perfectly casual for hot days. I’m planning to take it to San Diego when me and James go. I will mention it’s pretty long – perfect if you’re on the tall side.

Dresses

Black Maxi Dress

I’ve had this dress for a couple of years and it’s still a winner. Perfectly relaxed and feels like your favorite worn-in stretchy tee. I also like how it’s a split side maxi, makes it easier to walk in and shows a little leg. With pockets!

CRZ Leggings

I’m sure you’ve heard me raving about these leggings. These are the pair I wear most when the weather starts to warm up because they are light as air. They have a supportive, comfortable high waist, are seamless and also squat proof. I have several pair.

Leggings Fit : I wear XS and prefer the 25″ length, they hit me ankle length

Swimsuit

This has to be one of my favorite swimsuits of all time! I love the sassy but easy-to-wear-with kids around style. It’s incredibly flattering with the artful stripe and mesh combo.

    1. Honey we’re home! Okay there is no longer a need for stitch fix. Thank you! The pieces are so versatile and you’ve got a new follower.

  1. Thanks for this post, Megan! I always want to know just how certain clothing wears over the days, months, and years before I buy and it’s so difficult to figure out when shopping on Amazon. Thanks for doing the legwork for me! 🙂

    1. I appreciate that Melanie. I’m working on reducing my wardrobe inventory and investing only in things I truly love. I don’t want to have a closet full of clothes with nothing to wear!

  2. I love the idea of showing pieces you already own, rather than buying things specially to post about!

  3. I’m really enjoying the direction your blog is going in. Thank you for sharing with us.

May I ask, where did you purchase the marble top table in your office? I’ve always admired it.

    1. Thank you Maureen, I appreciate you letting me know. That table is from Restoration Hardware – it was my dining table in my old house.:)

  4. Totally agree with other comments! I find “follow up” reviews more useful than ones posted right away. So many times a piece seems great at first but then after wearing it all day I realize it’s actually a little snug, loose, rides up, etc. This is very helpful. I also enjoy seeing the pieces styled several ways. As you try to shift towards making more of the wardrobe you have, would you consider any “ outfit formula” type posts? Or “3 ways to wear a ___”?
