Stunning & Affordable Wedding Guest Outfits
Hi friend! Welcome to a fresh, new week! It’s our last week of school before we’re out for summer break!
I haven’t had time to catch my breath since April, so the break will be really good. The following week, my son and I head out for our second annual mother/son trip and I’m really looking forward to that! We’re heading to Miami! 🙂
WEDDING GUEST OUTFITS
Today, I have several amazing wedding guest outfits to share with you. Mostly dresses, all very affordable and figure flattering, and a few jumpsuits!
Even if you aren’t attending a wedding, these are great options to have for a lovely date night, gala or any time you just want to get dolled up, look and feel your best in a gorgeous outfit.
Size Reference: I’m short (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110 lbs. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XSP/XS in tops and dresses.
AMAZON SLEEVELESS MIDI DRESS
I have several outfits from Amazon to share with you, starting with this stunning dress! It’s a beautiful silky feel that drapes across the mock neck and blouses over the elastic waist. Then, the midi skirt has a sexy thigh slit. It also ties at the neck, behind your back.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing size Small
AMAZON ONE SHOULDER DRESS
This dress is similar, and by the same brand with an asymmetric one shoulder. It’s absolutely gorgeous in person and fits like a dream. I love the detail at the neck and shoulder and how good it feels on.

NORDSTROM MOCK NECK RING DETAIL MIDI DRESS
Another pretty pink option is this midi dress with a mock neck and cap sleeves. But, when you turn to the side, you notice the small circle cut outs. It also comes in black.

NORDSTROM ONE SHOULDER RUCHED DRESS
I wore this dress a couple of years ago to our school’s gala and I felt really good in it. It has one shoulder, zips up the side, with flattering ruching. It’s fully lined and feels great on – super silky.

If you don’t want to wear a dress, a jumpsuit can be a great alternative. This one is from Amazon with a one shoulder style that ties at the waist. It has double pockets and a flowy, wide leg.

I found a couple of very sassy date night or party dresses from Revolve. First up is this navy eyelet number. It’s fabulous on and so cute with the one shoulder and ruffle down one side. It’s also fully lined and comes with a coordinating tie belt.
It zips up the size and was a little tight in the chest on me, I’m 34D.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing an XS
This gorgeous crochet dress is fully lined, except for at the chest and knee. It’s such a pretty lilac color, but there’s several options.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing a Small
This champagne colored clutch coordinates well with the dress above. It’s got a simple design with a sheen, which makes it perfect for evening. You can carry it like a clutch or utilize the attached chain strap and wear it on your shoulder.
This navy dress fits like a glove and has gorgeous intricate lace detail. It’s fully lined with adjustable shoulder straps and felt incredibly comfortable on. It’s definitely a contender!

If you’re looking for a wedding guest/cocktail party dress that has sleeves, but still looks sexy and elegant, try this one! It has beautiful lace detail at the sleeve and as an overlay to the solid black, plus ladder stitching at the chest and skirt. It zips up the back and is regular bra friendly. You can choose from 13 different colors.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing a size Small, and the XS would probably fit a little better.
This is the same dress as the lilac I shared above, but in black. You can’t go wrong with either option!

This LBD is perfectly appropriate for Summer with it’s sleeveless halter style and mock neck. It’s got a fun, swingy skirt that would be wonderful for dancing the night away.

This dress is actually so cute on and kinda gave me Breakfast at Tiffany’s vibes. The one shoulder bow is darling and the fit and flare style is universally figure flattering on everyone. And it has pockets!

This LBD is stunning! It feels incredibly silky smooth against your skin and looks elegant on. The off shoulder bodice stays comfortable up and you get to show off a delicate or statement necklace. The dress also flatters your waistline. You won’t believe it’s under $40!

My friend Angela wore this dress to our school Gala a couple of years ago and was stunning in it! It has the perfect blend of sexiness and elegance with an asymmetric top and mermaid, split skirt. The material has a good bit of stretchy spandex, and it’s on the thicker side.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing a Small and it fit except at the length

The halter style of this gown lets you show off your shoulders, which is always sexy. There’s detailed piping at the chest and a defined waist, then the skirt flows to the floor in a mermaid style. Again, on me it would require a length alteration.
