Dressing Room | Target, Walmart & Revolve

Hi friend! Yay for Friday!  My friend Trisa is in town with her adorable pup Rusty (aka Luke’s best friend) and that’s always a treat!

We had a fun week on the blog and I shared a highly requested What I Eat in a Day 9 (with macros) post as a follow up to my #1 tip for weight loss.

I’ve been working to lose the holiday lbs. and get in better shape since the new year.  I’ve lost about 1 pound a week, so I’m right on track and very happy with that progress.

I also shared our winter home decor, along with some new decor finds from Amazon and Target.  And, lots of my beauty faves are from the drugstore, see them all here.

Here’s Tuesday Goodies if you missed it and my latest Amazon Live with new under $60 fashion faves.

YOUR FAVES THIS WEEK

I always love seeing what y’all are loving and here’s what topped your list this week!

Fashion | Star Sweatshirt, Good American Jeans, Dress

Amazon Fashion | MUST HAVE Leggings, Faux Leather Leggings,  Running Socks

Beauty | Dermaplane Facial Tool, CeraVe Vitamin C Serum, Teeth Whitening

Home | Handbag Hanger,  ECloth, Aesthetic Timed Water Bottle

DRESSING ROOM

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110.  I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses.  Lots of times the smallest size on Amazon is a Small, so in that case, that’s what I ordered.

Jewelry Worn:  Necklace, Beaded Bracelets, Budha Girl Bangles, Watch Band

I was on Anthropologie’s site looking for a matte black Capri candle and fell in love with this printed top.  It’s a soft knit with an embroidered v-neck and puffed sleeve.  I know I’ll be reaching for this one from now ’til summer – won’t it be cute with jeans shorts?!

The jeans are the flare style I recently got at Loft.  They were too long on me so I simply cut them with a sharp pair of scissors for a raw edge hem.

Top Fit: I’m wearing an XSP

Jeans Fit: I’m wearing a 25P,  I also cut the hem

This soft v-neck pullover is from Evereve and it’s incredibly cozy.  The neckline isn’t too low, but I added a cami underneath for another layer.

Star Sweatshirt, Jeans, Sandals

I’m so smitten with these Good American straight leg jeans.  They’re supposed to be more crop, but on me at 5’1, they hit me right at the ankle.  They have a pretty light blue wash with some rips at the knee and shin – very relaxed and perfect for weekends.

The star sweatshirt is from Target.  Nice and fleecy warm on the inside!

Here’s a better look at the cushion slides I’m wearing.  I love how comfortable they are and the buckles are too cute!  I had to size down one size, from a 6 to a 5 in them.

These sneakers are so fun!  I snagged them at Nordstrom, but this style is going fast.  They fit TTS.

Another great Target tee is this one with a cap sleeve.  It’s perfect for when you want a higher neckline, but still a nice and relaxed style. It will look great with white jeans too.

I wanted to try Target’s knit bodysuit and I liked it.  It’s a racerback ribbed knit with a comfortable full bottom and two snaps.

You can wear it under a jacket too.  You’ve probably seen this popular Gibson blazer before.  It’s so good because it has the structure of a traditional jacket, but it’s made of a soft knit material that feels great on.

I also love when you cuff the sleeve and get a peek of that printed lining detail.

Moving onto Walmart, I scored a few really great and affordable things there too! This short sleeve sweatshirt is perfect for in-between weather.  It has a puffed sleeve and hits me at the elbow.

And how about this fun one shoulder top?!  The pink is so vibrant and that ruffle is sassy!  It’s a stretchy fit that pulls on over your head in a thicker ribbed knit material.

I love it with these flare jeans for a fun night out, but it would also look great with white jeans and bright statement earrings in the Summer!

Walmart also had some really cute dresses!  This one is in a bright fuschia with a conservative v-neck and cap sleeves.  It’s fully lined with eyelet detail at the hem and a coordinating tie belt.

Ooh, this print is so fun and also comes in a top!  It looks like a brushstroke pattern in bold red and pink against a dark black background.  The halter neck is great for showing off your shoulders.  It’s fully lined with pockets and has a high/low hem. I love how non bodycon it is and it has great movement.

Isn’t the top version cute too?!  It’s also a halter style with a wrap around tie belt and a tie neck.  It’s also fully lined and looks great with black jeans.

I found a couple of very sassy date night or party dresses from Revolve.  First up is this navy eyelet number.  It’s fabulous on and so cute with the one shoulder and ruffle down one side.  It’s also fully lined and comes with a coordinating tie belt.

It zips up the size and was a little tight in the chest on me, I’m 34D.

Y’all!  This dress is so silky smooth and feels FANTASTIC against your skin.  It’s a gorgeous bright blue one shoulder with an asymmetric hem.  The buttons on at the hip give it a little extra visual interest.

  1. I’m sorry- You paid $108 for a top??! Sometimes the price point discrepancies of your posts confuse me…. I understand the concept of investing in nicer core pieces, or something for a special occasion, for example, but for simple casual top for a fashion review post of “everyday” clothing, this seems out of scope for affordable fashion for most people.

  2. I understand where Larkin is coming from, but I do appreciate seeing a few “splurge” items mixed in. I usually get one “splurge” for fall/winter and one for spring/summer. This top fits that criteria for me. I appreciate that Megan shows a variety of options- showing us you can mix in high end with a fab Target find.

  3. I love that you showed an Anthro top! I’m trying to avoid the more “fast fashion” items and get things that may be more spendy but are better quality and last for years! Plus, if you love it, the price per wear can be better than the cheap things.
