New Target Holiday Decor

Hi friend!  On Monday morning I was getting ready for Ali-Shaun to come over and try on clothes for our special Black Friday Style A Friend post.  I ordered the mother load of cute winter and holiday clothes and couldn’t wait to get started!

Well, I went to move the  little Christmas tree in room so we could have it showing in the background and I THREW OUT MY BACK.  🙁

I couldn’t believe it.  The tree isn’t even that heavy, but I must have lifted it wrong because I’ve been in so much pain ever since.  It hurts so bad. 🙁 I took some ibuprofen and we got through the try on pretty well actually.  But, I spent the better part of yesterday in bed with a heating pad.  These dumb injuries are so annoying!  On the bright side, I took it as an opportunity to just chill since that’s all I could do anyway.

And Jordan was home from school, so we got to spend some extra time together, which I always appreciate.  (p.s. I shared a puppy update here if you missed it!)

We started decorating for Christmas and I can’t wait to show you how everything looks in our new house.  You can see last year’s Christmas decor here and here.

Of course, Target always has the cutest new line of holiday decor and here’s what caught my eye.

  1. I’m so sorry you threw out your back! That pain is no fun! I’m keeping the ibuprofen bottle handy after a dumb move which left me with cracked ribs so I literally feel your pain. Here’s to healing!

  2. Awww I feel your pain Megan! My back has been going out since my twenties! Try icing 15 minutes then heat 15 min plus the ibuprofen & you should get some relief!! xoxo
