Hi friend! Welcome to a brand new week! We had such a nice weekend, nothing special, just chill time and hanging at the pool. Those are the best kinds of Summer weekends, right?!

Today I have a new Target fashion haul and everything is cute, casual and affordable!
My Size Reference: I’m short (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110 lbs. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XSP/XS in tops and dresses.

I’m really loving these soft paper bag waist jean shorts. They’re more of a chambray than a true denim and much softer. They have front pockets and come with the coordinating tie belt. They fit looser on the leg than your traditional jean short and aren’t too short.
The bright red top makes a dressier option for 4th of July. The body is a ribbed knit and the statement sleeves are a crisp cotton. I like the square neck and how you could wear this top with jeans or a skirt too.

If you prefer a high neck tank, this is an inexpensive classic with a ribbed knit. It’s fitted to the body and comes in several colors.

I keep finding so many cute patriotic tops. This lightweight sweater is a classic with USA stitched on the front, along with the stars and stripes on the sleeves.

I actually wore this top yesterday with white shorts. It’s a cute floral tank with a crochet chest and shoulders. The body is a dark yellow with petite blue and pink florals. The small ivory buttons are functional.

This floral top has a coordinating midi skirt that I’ll show you below, but it’s also cute with jean shorts. It’s a crop length, but with high waist jean shorts like these from Amazon, you don’t see much skin.

I really liked the pretty aqua/light blue color of this top. It’s a rushed peplum with playful ties where the shoulder straps meet the chest. I’m wearing the top with the pull on shorts from Loft that I showed you here.

PANTS OUTFITS

Oh dang! If only these pants weren’t 10 miles too long on me! They are the sister to the paper bag waist shorts I shared above. They’re incredibly soft and comfortable on and will go with so many different tops. You could dress them up for a night out or wear them casually to lunch.

Similarly, these wide leg pants were way too long on me. I like them in theory- they have a smocked waist, pockets and long wide leg that makes you look taller, but the fabric felt a little scratchy to me.
I did like them with this crop top. With the shorter top and wide leg pants, your leg line seems to go on forever.
