Hi friends! Welcome back to my blog and here’s to a fresh, new week! We had a great, slow weekend, but also got lots of things done around the house. Brian helped me pick out a new fridge since my old one is acting up and I’ve already had it repaired several times, and it’s over 11 years old. I’m excited to get a french door style this time!

We also cleaned up my landscaping, went to the pool, walked to the park, went to Trader Joe’s and had a date night at our first date restaurant. All in all, it was a very good weekend!

THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE STARTS TODAY!

Today is also super fun and something I look forward to all year! Ali-Shaun and I (along with Rhonda and her daughter) are heading to Nordstrom to shop the Anniversary Sale and I can’t wait to share what we find! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale launches today for Icon cardholders, but even if you can’t shop yet, you can start your wishlist and save your favorite items here. Here’s what’s on my own wishlist and the things I plan to reorder.

This annual sale is a beast, and there’s over 5,000 items included! All of these items are 40% off during the sale, but go up to full price when the sale is over.

I’ve gone through all the categories and picked out what caught my eye and what I recommend. Today, I’m sharing my top picks in Boots, Shoes, Activewear, Bags and Accessories.

We always start with boots and booties and I keep my eye out for a great ankle bootie as well as a knee high pair.

UGGs and Hunter boots are always great to buy during the sale if you need a pair and this year, the grey/yellow Sperry rain boot is so cute!

I also really like the cognac color of the Vince Camuto knee high boot. That warm tone compliments so many Fall colors. And, for something edgier that can be worn with jeans, leggings and even skirts, the Pikolinos Combat boot is sharp!

I’m also interested in several non-boot options. I like the updated version of the Steve Madden Chain Mule with the chunkier gold chain- those flats were on repeat last year and were a work Must Have.

The Vince Camuto woven Candialia Sandal will go with lots right now and I’m smitten with the bright pink Braided Heel.

If you need a classic pointy toe pump, you can’t go wrong with this style. It comes in all the neutral colors.

How cute is this Steve Madden Wedge Sneaker with the tweed material and side zipper?! It also comes in solid tan and cognac.

I can’t wait to try on the Tory Burch Slide! I hope it fits my wide foot!

I’m a huge fan of delicate Gorjana jewelry and was so happy to see many of her pieces in the sale! I’ll be replacing the Gorjana Tanner Bar Necklace that Jordan accidentally broke and my Gorjana Palm Necklace is in the sale! Y’all always ask for the link to that one when I wear it. I’m also a fan of a

The Power Stone Bracelet is on my wishlist and also makes a great gift. I also like how these Baublebar Beaded Bracelets look stacked together.

You can’t go wrong with a Felt Panama Hat and this one is adjustable and also comes in grey with a black band.

It’s always fun to cozy up in a pretty Blanket Scarf with a cup of cappuccino.

The Bauble Bar Hoop Earrings come in a set of 2- one for work and one for play! I’m also a fan of a big hoop and these are by Gorjana.

These Kate Spade Sunglasses were my favorite sunnies in the sale and this Kendra Scott Necklace will add interest to virtually any outfit. It’s similar to the ‘Rayne’ necklace, but updated with a more open chain and different shaped stone.

BAGS

I’ve got a hard eye on that new striped Tory Burch crossbody bag! I love how the mix of black and brown will go with everything this Fall and Winter!

Ali-Shaun’s #1 pick is back in the sale and I’ve got my eye on this new Tory Burch Striped Crossbody Bag. We can wear it now and all year long!

Other crossbody bags that caught my eye include the classic Tory Burch Carson Crossbody, Marc Jacobs Crossbody with striped strap (leaning towards the tan, but like the black too!), Marc Jacobs Crossbody (in hazelnut) and the Clare V Crossbody.
