Hello friends, here’s to making it to mid-week and just one more week until Christmas!
Ain’t that the truth! And I’ve been battling a sinus infection for a few days now, which makes it worse! But, thankfully my doctor fit me in yesterday, and gave me a steroid shot and Z pack. I declined the B12 shot (for energy) because it kept me up all night last time and mama needs her sleep!
AMAZON FASHION HAUL
Today is a brand new Amazon fashion post, and it’s full of HITS and a just a couple of MISSES. I like to show you those too so that you get the full heads up before you order.
YOUR AMAZON FAVES
Here are your faves from my last Amazon post.
#1 // Ponte Leggings • The awesome thing about these leggings is that they fit like a pant with a nice thickness to them and not so super skintight like most leggings. They are very opaque and comfortable at a great price!
#2 // Hooded Pullover • Nice and stretchy, and long enough for leggings. It’s the perfect piece for layering a puffer jacket over also. I literally want one of these in every color- it comes in 9!
#3 // Soft Pullover• It’s pajama soft with a nice shirttail hem, and definitely long enough for leggings. It’s that soft, brushed cotton material that you almost want to snuggle up in.
#4 // Crossbody Bag • It’s a great dome shape and medium size that comes in every color for under $20!
#5 // Set of Belts • I’m loving these stretchy belts too! I’ve worn them with both jeans and dresses. They come in a set of 4 and fit TTS.
For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses. Lots of times the smallest size on Amazon is a Small, so in that case, that’s what I ordered.
SWEATERS & JEANS
I didn’t order any new jeans for this post, I’m still living in my Mid Rise Skinny Jeans by Daily Ritual, one of Amazon’s quality house brands. They are a premium denim that stretch to fit your body, while still being nice and comfortable.
They have several colors to choose from and they fit TTS, I wear my normal size 25.
This sweater looked kinda basic on the hanger, but I love it on. It’s classic (especially in the navy, but it comes in more colors). It’s also a great weight, perfect for inside your office or while out shopping.
Sweater Fit : I’m wearing size XS
I had to laugh because when I tried this sweater on last week, I thought it was from LOFT! It’s so soft and high quality that sometimes I’m still surprised when something this good is from Amazon! It’s reindeer chic and would look great with white jeans, a skirt, or red pants too!
Sweater Fit : I’m wearing size Small
For a fancy night out or party, this sweater will keep you warm and sparkly! It’s soft and fuzzy with a metallic sheen, almost like a present!
Sweater Fit : I’m wearing size Medium (I must have mistakenly ordered that size, I’d prefer an XS)
GET THIS PULLOVER! I like to call out the special ones and this is a fave! I’m partial to these quality lightweight knits because they are so comfortable, but still look pulled together. You can dress them up for work or wear causally around the house like I often do since I work from home.
Of course, the grey with black hearts is fun, but it also comes in tons of colors and also stripes.
Sweater Fit : I’m wearing size Small
These long sleeve crew neck tops from Lark & Ro are a great basic to keep in your closet. They’re made of a super soft jersey knit that feels cool on your skin and also makes layering a breeze. One review that stood out to me was the nurse who said she likes wearing these under her scrubs. My friend Karen is a nurse, so I recommended them to her!
Top Fit : I’m wearing size Small
I’ve already worn this check pullover out on a chilly day and it kept me nice and warm. It’s a 3/4 zip pullover with pockets in a pretty grey buffalo check pattern.
Pullover Fit : I’m wearing size XS, size up if you want it more relaxed. Although this fit me well, I would probably order a small next time (there’s so many colors!).
Graphic tees are just fun and not to be taken too seriously. You can wear this one in the summer with jean shorts or with a jacket in the winter.
Tee Fit : I’m wearing size Small, I’d recommend sizing up one- it runs small
Slip On Sneakers pink “6701 Mauve”
Another sneaker that is so, so good are these slip on mesh sneakers with over 5,000 positive reviews. I thought they looked cute on the website, but I wanted to check them out in person. They are cute! And super comfy! They are so lightweight, almost like wearing air on your feet.
There are tons of slightly different styles to choose from, so look at them closely- and you’ll get to pick your favorite colors since they have so many.
Sneaker Fit: I’m wearing size 6 (my true size), but the grey pair I bought felt snug, so I returned those thinking I needed to size up half.
These Ponte Lggings are only $18 and the best part is – they are specifically made to wear with outfits, as opposed to taking your workout leggings and turning them into styles. This pair has clean lines, no pockets for a streamlined fit, made from double-knit Ponte fabric. They’re nice and thick and hold their shape all day with a comfortable banded waistband.
You basically get the comfort of leggings with the look of a pant.
Leggings Fit : I’m wearing size XS and rolled about an inch under to show some ankle
This long cardigan with pockets reminded me of the Halogen one I have from Nordstrom, (40% off) but a thicker material. The Halogen one is a linen, and this one is a cotton, model and polyester blend. Model keeps its shape and finish, even after frequent washing. I never hand wash anything, so gentle cycle and laying flat to dry is my go-to for delicate fabrics.
Cardigan Fit : I’m wearing size XS
For a more casual leggings outfit, this off shoulder sweatshirt and sneakers is an easy look to pull together. The sweatshirt feels nice and thick, and is totally opaque so you don’t have to worry about it being sheer.
Top Fit : I’m wearing size Small
Y’all wanted to know about the bralettes on Amazon and I tried two this round. I ended up with a MISS and a HIT!
Top : Racerback Bralette (size Medium, I’m 34D) – MISS
I wasn’t crazy about this one, it’s lightly padded, but wasn’t supportive and the underband was too loose on me.
Bottom : White Deep V Bralette (size Medium, I’m 34D) – HIT
This one was a keeper and super cute on! The padded cups are removable and it did feel supportive, kind of like the support you’d find in a good bikini top.
Top Fit : I’m wearing size Small, which looks great and long enough for leggings. If I would have gotten an XS, it would probably look more fitted like it does on the website.
JACKETS & VESTS
This time of year, a puffer vest is always a good idea. You get the warmth of a jacket, but it won’t leave you too hot. This vest is made with “genuine 600 fill power down to provide weightless warmth” and is HyperDRY down, so it retains its loft (and warming power) even when wet. Bonus: It’s water resistant. Talk about a power vest!
Really, the pretty light blue plaid is what caught my eye, but I’ll take all the benefits too! it to my immediately. It also comes in a classic black and white houndstooth print.
Vest Fit : I’m wearing size XS
How fun is this red coat?! After trying a white parka, I realized I really like a change from the basic black we always wear. It’s nice and warm with a longer length to help shield your legs and booty from the cold. The contoured seaming creates a nice silhouette and it has elasticized cuffs and pockets.
This coat is also packable and folds up into a little bag you can easily pack in your suitcase or tuck into your bag.
Wowza! Now this is a soft vest! I dig the stripes and pockets and how well it will go with all the basic tops in my closet.
Vest Fit : I’m wearing size Small, prefer XS

I like the color, shape and fit of this jacket, but it didn’t feel good on, so it gets a MISS from me.
Hoodie Fit : I’m wearing size XS
In the alternative, I LOVE this one! It’s so super soft and cozy and I didn’t want to take it off!
Jacket Fit : I’m wearing size XS
Lots of y’all wanted a faux leather jacket and I hit the jackpot with this one! I searched for a long time and read many reviews (this one has over 4,500!) and it’s great! It feels good on, not sticky or plasticky at all.
It looks way more expensive than the under $50 price.
I’m also a fan of the soft brown color, detailed stitching, and gold hardware. But, it comes in tons of colors and styles.
Jacket Fit : I’m wearing size XS and it’s fitted. Size up if you want to a looser fit or plan to wear a sweater with it.
I liked this jacket so much that I couldn’t wait to wear it! I wore it last weekend to dinner with my friend Trisa and got so many compliments! It has the prettiest feather light fringe! It’s an open style with a silky smooth lining inside.
Fit : Runs small, I sized up to a Small
If you’re looking for more options to go with your paper bag waist pants, this ruffled top is a fun option. I definitely like it in the vibrant red, but it also comes in a crisp white.
Top Fit : I’m wearing size Medium so size up!
I love the navy color (that’s hard to find!), fit, and shape of this dress (and how good it looks with the skinny gold belt). Also, the fit and flare style has great movement.
Unfortunately, the fabric (95% Polyester, 5% Spandex) didn’t feel good to me. I’m calling it a MISS, but so bummed about it!
Dress Fit : I’m wearing size XS
Having shared the Athleta jogger set last week made me want to find a less expensive version for you. Don’t get me wrong, that pair is 100% worth it and so well made, but if you’re looking for a similar vibe, this is a good option.
You get both the hoodie and the jogger pants in this set and they are super soft.
I’m wearing the “coffee” color, which I admit, kinda gives me the teddy bear feels! I’d like to see the navy and charcoal in person, those look good online too.
Jogger Fit : I’m wearing size Small and the pants are long on me. I’d prefer XS.
OMG, this robe is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a cozy robe that wasn’t to the floor and I love this length. It’s made of a super soft velour, got lots of great reviews, and comes in several colors. I’m wearing “charcoal”.
Robe Fit : I’m wearing size XS
This quilted bag is a steal at only $18, and will hold all your essentials, then some. It’s made of vegan faux leather, with gold hardware and zips closed with an inside slip and zip pocket. I think the tassel is a fun touch!
Mine is the “brown”, and the light brown, blush and nude look really good too!
MORE AMAZON FINDS
As always, I take far too much advantage of Amazon Prime, and I found more goodies below. You can keep up to date with my favorites on my AMAZON STOREFRONT.

HAIRDRYER + BRUSH IN ONE
Did you see the video tutorial I shared on Stories for the hairdryer + brush in one? It’s saved to my Highlights under “blowout” if you missed it. I love it because it gives me a salon smooth, voluminous blowout so quickly and easily!
Ali-Shaun watched it and messaged me asking if it was easy to use because she has really curly hair and likes to wear it straight. (It really looks pretty curly, but she rarely wears it that way!)
I offered to come over and dry her hair for her to show her how to use it, but she ended up doing it herself and sent me this message/photo yesterday.
Doesn’t she look so good?! You’d never guess her hair starts out curly! That hair dryer + brush works on all hair types and I did use it when my hair was long too. My mom even uses it!
It’s normally $59, now $38.
The weighted blanket Marianna recommended arrived and I got a chance to try it. I do really like it! I got the 68×80 size so that it would fit the top of my king sized bed, and the 20 pounds. From what I read, the bigger the blanket, the more the weight is dispursed, so a smaller 15 pound blanket will feel heavier, if that makes sense.
The 20 pounds felt really good. I was sick last night and woke up several times, but I was always loving how good the blanket felt! AND, it didn’t make me hot or sweat- that’s what I was worried about.
MICROWAVE PLATE COVER
I didn’t even know this was a thing, but I’m SO GLAD I found it! I hate how food splatters all over the microwave when I reheat it. This microwave plate cover prevents all those nasty splatters that end up sitting in the microwave until they’re caked on.
And cleaning them is always the lowest priority, so I have to look at it daily until I get the gumption to wipe it out. And then, it doesn’t clean easily!
Needless to say, I’m really excited to receive this!
