Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We’ve been soaking up those last days of summer before school starts on Wednesday. Wednesday!!
And tonight we get to meet Jordan’s Pre-K3 teacher. I’m so excited for her to get to see her classroom and sit in her little chair for the first time! It’s a big step for both of us, but I know she’s gonna thrive and have so much fun getting to play with kids her own age for a change. The social aspect alone will be wonderful for her.
I’m all about summer while it lasts, but I’m looking forward to the comfort of a routine. It’s been really out the window lately. Do you feel that way too?
Today, it’s time for a new Monthly Loves. If you’re new to Loves, it’s where I share things I’m loving each month, with the aim to highlight fabulous things I swear by, some things I want to try, great deals, and under $50 finds! All perfectly appropriate for the flavor of each month! I love sourcing goodies and sharing them with you!
I found this awesome quilted bag at a new-to-me online boutique. I’m trying to venture out into new shopping territory and Red Dress Boutique has really cute, on trend pieces at good prices. They also have FREE, fast shipping when you spend $50.
This bag has the classic quilting and chain strap look of a Chanel, but is under $50!
I adore the rust color for Fall, and it also comes in beige (that I also really want), black, red and white. There’s an exterior back pocket, several inside pockets, and a fun red lining.
This entire outfit (minus the shoes) are all from Red Dress and the button fly jeans are only $44! You get FREE shipping when you spend $50. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again!
A reader recently sent me a DM asking if I had a good nude flat to recommend. I’m sure we all could use a nude flat that is well made, comfortable, and looks good with lots of outfits. I’ll be volunteering at the school a bunch and prefer to wear flats for comfort practicality. But I still want them to look cute!
Which pair do you like best below??
I wore this halter top in San Antonio and got so many compliments on it! It’s a very soft, lightweight knit with a halter style that’s perfect for showing off your shoulders. I love how the florals look like watercolors, and, it has darling tie back.
I just uploaded my Fall Target post try-on to Stories (saved to Highlights) and ended with this 2-piece pajama set. It’s super soft and the quality rivals a pair I found at Nordstrom. The shorts have a comfortable elastic waist and the trim on this pair is baby pink.
I need a pair of new eyeglasses so bad, so I should be focusing on getting those, but I came across these sunglasses and thought they were so fun! I adore this champagne/rose color, but they also come in black.
Moving into Fall, I’m ready to switch out my popular sun hat for a fedora. I just ordered this beautiful tan hat and can’t wait for it to arrive!
I’ve been eyeing these waterproof gold bangle bracelets forever and finally pulled the trigger. They are pricey, but Ali-Shaun and Tarah had a great idea to buy a set and split them up and share. I think they would make a great Christmas gift also.
They come in different colors and sizes (I’m wearing the gold in size small) and they’re not just for the pool or beach- although they won’t get damaged in the water or elements. They look great year round and will even dress up your holiday outfits!
We celebrated our friend Jamie’s birthday recently and I wore this floral romper for the occasion. It’s perfect for summer because it’s a lightweight shorts romper, but the darker background lends itself to Fall. It’s a great length (not too short) with ruffled sleeves and flounce hem, pockets and a coordinating tie belt.
The same way a nude heel gives you legs for days, a clear heel does too. I love this style that lets all the attention stay on your outfit while still giving you extra height. This pair fits TTS.
Kids and adults alike had a fantastic time at Marianna’s back-to-school party. It was a ‘game night’ theme with fierce rounds of Left Center Right. Ali-Shaun’s son ended up winning the whole pot! I wore this adorable button front dress and I love the ruffles at the sleeve and hem.
Last but not least, and not pictured in my collage because it didn’t “fit”, is the Dyson Stick Vac. Y’all know I’m OBSESSED with mine and use it every.single.day (sometimes twice a day) if my kids are really being animals. It’s so much easier to pull out a cordless, lightweight stick vacuum than it is to sweep or lug a vacuum with a cord. And, it’s $200 off right now!
Now, go kick Monday’s butt!
