Fall Neutrals with a Pop of Pattern
Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a great weekend and are starting your week off fresh! We started off with rainstorms on Saturday, then turned it around with glorious cool temperatures on Sunday. It was perfect park weather, and then we had and afternoon lazing around, which can be good for your soul once in awhile. I also indulged in quite a few sweets (and donuts) so hitting the gym for my 6am class this morning was just what I needed.

Y’all know I love a good neutral outfit, especially in the Fall, when the weather is crisp and cool and the colorful leaves and pumpkins can be the pop of color in your life. I’m here to show you neutral is anything but boring; in fact, I think it’s sophisticated and chic. Especially when you throw in some pattern or a bit of leopard. 😉
Here are three neutral inspired outfits to inspire your Fall wardrobe!
OUTFIT #1 | BLACK SKINNY JEANS WITH A COLOR BLOCK SWEATER
Abby Skinny Perfect Black Jeans 2P • Sweater • Heels • Necklace • Similar Purse
Of course I was drawn to the mix of tan, cream and black in the sweater, but I also love that artful design. It’s not too busy, but interesting nonetheless. It’s also a thin knit that keeps you warm outside, but not sweating inside.
The main star of this show is the jeans. Whenever I discover something I’m really fond of, I have to share it with you! These black skinny jeans are a new (to me) brand that I recently tried for the first time. Let me tell you, I’m smitten with them and think you will be too!
Liverpool is a dedicated jeans brand that focuses on amazing fitting jeans, specifically because many of their jeans have “4-way stretch technology” – a fabric blend that contours and shapes your figure, to slim and lift where you want it to. Any pair of jeans that make my short, stumpyish legs look longer and lean get an A+ in my book!
They’re also incredible comfortable, but the stretch control technology keeps them from sagging by the end of the day. And good news, if you use my code, use code HONEY20, you can get 20% off your purchase!
Moto Jacket • Abby Skinny Perfect Black Jeans • Sweater • Heels • Necklace • Similar Purse
Although Liverpool is 99% jeans, they do have a select few tops and jackets. I’m wearing the chic moto jacket that looks sturdy and structured, but is actually quite soft and relaxed.
It has a classic moto lapel with asymmetric zip closure and black coated hardware.
It’s easy to move around in the jacket and doesn’t feel constricting. I like it with the black jeans, but it also looks great with blue jeans, slacks, and over skirts and dresses.

OUTFIT #2 | BLACK SKINNY JEANS WITH A POP OF LEOPARD
Leopard Puffer Vest • Black Jeans • Smocked Black Top • Purse • Similar Booties
Who doesn’t love adding a pop of leopard to their outfit?? I took an otherwise monochromatic outfit and made it stand out with this leopard vest. The vest is your best friend for adding warmth without another bulky layer. They are as functional as they are cute.
This one has that fun leopard print with pockets and is slightly fitted at the waist. You can also throw it in the machine to wash.
Don’t forget about that cute bracelet bag to punch up your outfit! I’m so smitten with mine that I bought it in two colors! You can check out my review in my latest Amazon fashion haul post.
If you want to lose the vest, the pretty blouse will really stand out. It’s got slightly puffy shoulders with ruched cuff sleeves that are ultra feminine. I could see this blouse worn with plaid trousers or topping endless skirt options.

OUTFIT #3 | SKINNY JEANS WITH A LEOPARD BLOUSE
Last but not least, this pair of jeans I want to wear everyday! I’ll warn you and say I’m wearing a size up (2P, I’m normally 0P) because they didn’t have my size when I ordered and I really wanted to see these jeans in person. So, take that into consideration when you’re looking at these pictures. The size up but were a bit loose in the waist and could be more fitted through the leg. Even though, I still love them and felt amazing in them!
Hugger Ankle Skinny Jean 2P • Leopard Print Top • Bag • Shoes
FIT TIP : Definitely order your true size and they’ll still be super comfortable because they have a good amount of stretch to them.  These jeans have that 4-way stretch contour I was telling you about that make you look and feel fantastic.Â
As for my top, I obviously can’t quit the leopard lately! Are you with me? This time, the leopard is in a button-down blouse that feels classy and sexy at the same time.
TOP FIT:Â TTS, wearing XSP
I dressed up the look with cognac heels and the dupe bracelet bag I found in my latest Amazon fashion haul. It has a darling bracelet handle, but also comes with a crossbody strap if you prefer to wear it that way.
If your office does casual Friday, you could wear this exact outfit, then be good to go for Happy Hour later! Oh those were the days! 😉
If you’re off to order these jeans, make sure to use code HONEY20 for 20% off!
I hope this post is giving you some Fall wardrobe inspiration for your own closet! Do you have a favorite outfit?

Thanks to Liverpool jeans for partnering on this post and for making my short legs look long and lean!Â
interesting:D
Adorable!! I have a few pair of Liverpool jeans, too, and love them!
Hi Megan,
I have a sort of random question for you! What wallet do you use with this cute little purse! I have a big wallet and want to find a cute little wallet, but I just don’t know what I am looking for! Thanks for your help!
That’s a great question Darcy! I don’t usually carry a wallet with this bag. I just grab my license, cash and a credit card and put it in the inside pocket.
Love the leopard print outfits since I bought both of those pieces recently.
Oh that’s perfect Kristie! I’m obsessed with leopard lately!
Can any of you Liverpool Jeans aficionados tell me if there are any issues with dye transfer when wearing with a light colored shirt/purse or if I have to sit on a light colored sofa? 🙂 Thnx!
I haven’t had any problems with mine:)
