♥ SEPTEMBER LOVES ♥
Now that September is upon us, it’s time for another Monthly Loves with my September monthly favorites! I love sourcing goodies and putting these collages together for you!
If you’re new to Loves, it’s where I share things I’m loving each month, with the aim to highlight fabulous things I swear by, some things I might want to try, great deals, and under $50 finds! All perfectly appropriate for the flavor of each month!
Leopard Blouse • Button Back Blouse • Eyeshadow Palette • Quilted Bag • Reversible Tote • Love First Tee • Statement Necklace • Skinny Shaping Jeans • Leopard Mules
Leopard Blouse • Fall is bringing out my love of leopard in a big way! This leopard blouse is equal parts classic and chic and can be worn casually or dressed up. I like it with jeans and rolled sleeves for a girl’s night out or worn with tailored slacks or a pencil skirt for a smart work look.
Button Back Blouse • I’m all about a tunic that will take me from day to night, PTO to church. It’s ultra comfortable with a collared v-neck and rolled sleeves with the cutest button back. Bonus, it’s only $39!
Eyeshadow Palette • I’m 100% OBSESSED with this eyeshadow palette! It came as a gift when the with the announcement of the upcoming Gibson Glam holiday collection coming soon! The eyeshadows are so rich and pigmented and the colors blend beautifully. For everyday, I’ve been sweeping TEMPERA across the entire lid, then using BURNT ORANGE in the crease, and RUSTIC at the corners for added drama. Finally, I’ll dab a bit of FAIRY OR GLISTENING to the center eyelid for some soft shine.
Quilted Bag • You can’t go wrong with this classic quilted shoulder bag. I’m crazy for the gold panther clasp and double link chain. You can wear this one crossbody or on the shoulder and it’s a nice size (11”W x 7 1/2”H x 3”D). It’s looks more expensive than it is- only $55.
Reversible Tote • How about an oldie but a goodie? I was gifted this tote from my parents ♥ for Christmas 4 years ago and it’s still going strong. It’s faux leather and reversible and under $50! I’ve passed on the tradition and have given it as Christmas gifts in the past, always to the delight of the recipient! #howmanydaystilChristmas?!
Love First Tee • I’m a sucker for love and this tee is a simple and cute way to convey the sentiment! And it’s on sale for under $15!
Statement Necklace • After eyeing this gorgeous pearly and crystal necklace for ages, I finally scooped it up! It’s a beauty you can wear year round, but will look especially good this fall and winter for festive parties and weddings!
Let's be friends!

Leopard Mules • I can’t believe how much I’ve been wearing these leopard mules! They are so comfy and cute and it’s easy for me to run errands with my toddler while still looking stylish, because #leopard!
Skinny Shaping Jeans • You’ve heard me raving about these jeans since the Nordstrom sale, so it’s time to make them an official LOVE!
These skinny mini jeans are a mid-rise with a bit of stretch. I love the medium wash and slight whiskering at the hips. They also have a comfortable ‘Ab-solution’ powermesh panel to “mold and hold, a waistband with interior control and booty-lift construction.” #youhadmeatbootylift . They fit TTS and come in petite.
LET’S MEET AT PROJECT ONE WAY
With Fall approaching, I’m due for a Ladies’ Night Out and I’m sure you are, too! Let’s meet at Sugar Land Town Square next Thursday, September 13 for Project OneWay!
I had to ask what Project OneWay was too (and I get tongue tied every time I say it out loud!), and turns out, it’s a one-woman fashion show featuring all the hottest Fall looks from shops like Charming Charlie, Altar’d State, LOFT, Eye Trends, Luggage & Leather, and Mann Eye. That’s right- I’ll be the “One Woman” #yikes! sharing all of these fantastic styles on stage and I’d love to see your friendly faces there! It’s a sponsored partnership with Sugar Land Town Square and I know it will be a ton of fun!
The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with FREE admission and includes one drink ticket per attendee over 21 and sweet treats for anyone not doing the #HWHFitnessChallenge. We’ll also be raffling off items from various retailers with all proceeds benefiting Dress for Success Houston. I’m honored to be part of something like this that is giving back to our great community.
I hope you and your girlfriends can make it! It’s sure to be a good time and I’d love to meet you in person!
There’s still a great sale happening on all things fall at Nordstrom! Don’t miss out on 33% off these bootcut jeans or 40% off these dark wash skinnies!
This hooded, tunic shaped jacket that I loved during the Anniversary sale is $20 cheaper than it was during the sale!
The geniuses behind my fave cozy cardi make a tank top and you can get it for $15!
At $27, this striped, short sleeve open cardigan makes a great layer to add over a nice top as the temps cool down!
Whether you’re watching your pro football team for the first time this year, your college team try to move up in the rankings or your baseball team get into the playoffs, all your team colors are available in cute styles at great prices!
The laser cut detail on these booties is a nice touch! They’re under $40 and qualify for free shipping!
Hope you loved my September monthly favorites! Have a great weekend friends!
Happy Friday and best wishes for a great weekend! Loving the fitness challenge and all the positive support systems you have in place for us. I had a slow start but I now feel like I have things but on track, so again, thank you for the support.
I’m so glad you’re on a roll now! I think it takes about a week to really start gaining traction! Let’s keep it going this weekend!
Really interesting selection, happy friday and weekend 😀
Thanks friend! Have a great weekend!!
Love the nickels and those eye shadows. You yourself have a great weekend! Guess what, I have had my husband involved in the challenge and last night we went to walk together!
That’s awesome! Great way to spend time together!
why do the top pics show lots of lines way above your cheekbones? maybe it was too much photo editing
That’s just my face:) And a preset color filter probably exaggerated them.
