Hi friends! Welcome back to my blog and hello if you’re new! I’m so glad you’re here! I hope you had a wonderful long weekend.
One of our highlights was James and Jordan fishing for the very first time in the pond that backs up to Brian’s parent’s house. The kids loved it and James caught three catfish! How’s that for beginner’s luck?! He was so stoked and now he can’t wait to go again!
We also celebrated my brother’s 40th birthday, hung out at the pool, made s’mores, and I even managed to squeeze in a workout yesterday. It felt like a really long weekend, and now we’re looking at the last two weeks of school! We’re definitely looking forward to that!
JUNE LOVES GIVEAWAY
As a THANK YOU for reading and subscribing to my blog, I’m giving away EVERYTHING in my June Loves to one of my subscribers. AND, if you win and would prefer a gift card/venmo for the value of the Loves, that’s your choice!
If you’re not subscribed, you can sign up here, and I will pick a winner at random and announce at the end of the month!
If you’re new to Loves, it’s where I share things I’m loving each month, with the aim to highlight fabulous things I swear by, some things I want to try, great deals, and under $50 finds! All perfectly appropriate for the flavor of each month! I love sourcing goodies and sharing them with you!
Y’all, I am so impressed with this crossbody bag! It looks super expensive, but it’s actually under $22 and there’s even an extra 5% off coupon! I got the “beige” in size Medium and it’s perfect for date night or brunch or even daily if you have a small carry. The gold hardware is so pretty and you can adjust the length of the strap.
The ‘beige’ describes the color of the strap, but the bag itself is a gorgeous creamy white. I’ve already worn it several times and I’m crazy about it, from the way it looks to even how it feels!
These BuDha Girl bangles have been a favorite for years and they’re still going strong.
They come in different colors and sizes (I’m wearing the gold in size small) and they’re not just for the pool or beach- although they won’t get damaged in the water or elements. They even make them for babies and kids!
You can’t go wrong with Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses. I’m partial to the blue mirrored version, but they look great in every color. Did you know you can pinch the nose part together closer so they fit your face better?! When I linked them, they were 20% off, so I hope they’re still on sale now!
Like I mentioned above, we made s’mores this weekend and they were delish! We ended up heating the marshmallows over my gas stove because my grill broke!
But, I will say, having these skewers was so handy! You get a set of four and they’re really well make with a wooden handle, long double skewer on each one, and they even come in a canvas carrying case. We’ll be bringing them to Florida for sure! Brian’s driving so he can pack them in the car.

I got these Tory Burch Minnie flip flops right before our Mexico trip and have been wearing them ever since. I like how sturdy they are and the subtle stripe on the side. I got the ‘perfect navy’ that almost looks black, but they also come in a sunshine yellow and light blue color.
I got my nails done yesterday and opted for a short shellac polish in the prettiest shade of light blue. The color was called Water Baby by OPI and of course I wanted to share it with you right away! But, when I got home and searched online, I couldn’t find it- I’m wondering if it got discontinued??
But, I found this this light blue color that looks nearly identical. It’s a fun change for summer! It’s called Mexico City Move-mint.
Y’all saw in my 4-Minute Skincare Routine that I’m using the new Colleen Rothschild SPF 4o and really like how it’s protecting my skin. I like it so much that I wanted y’all to get to try it too!
The Triple Defense Sunscreen is a broad spectrum SPF 40 that protects against UVA/UVB rays, pollution and blue light. It also has antioxidants to help fight future signs of aging and skin damage.
It’s 100% Mineral Sunscreen (reef safe), Non-Comedogenic (won’t clog pores) and also controls oil. I like the little pump that’s easy to use and the scent is really nice. It goes on smooth and doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin.
Especially now that many of us are spending more time in the sun, it’s even more important to protect our skin. I also like this adjustable woven sun hat I got at Nordstrom and wore to the pool this weekend. The brim is on the larger size, so it provides pretty good coverage. And it’s cute!
I can’t wait to see who wins this month’s giveaway! It’s so fun when I get to notify the winner! They are always so surprised and appreciative! What would you like to see in next month’s giveaway?
Now let’s go kick
