The Must Have Blouse for Fall
Good morning friends! Last month, I shared with you a Must Have Fall tunic, and today I have the Must Have Blouse for Fall! It’ll actually be great all year long with it’s lightweight fabric and 3/4 length sleeves. I originally tried on this blouse in green in a recent Dressing Room post, and later I was kicking myself for not bringing it home with me! But, I’ve made up for it now because I ordered it in two colors- the pretty green and this chic black. Do you do that too where you don’t buy something and then it haunts you until you finally give in?
Blouse XSP • Jeans 25P • Belt • Glasses • Watch • Clutch
This blouse is tailored, but soft and silky and get this, machine washable! It’s exactly the type of top I always used to wear to work with slacks (this classic style was my go-to, a straight leg with a hint of stretch).
The cut of this blouse is slimmer fitting, which still shows a feminine shape, as opposed to being boxy.  The roll tab sleeves give it a more casual look, so it’ll also fit in well at church, PTO or anywhere you want to look polished and chic. There are lots of colors available too, the green and colbalt blue are on sale + and extra 40% off.
Sizing:Â This blouse fits TTS, I’m in XSP.
My night out uniform typically consists of skinny jeans and heels and some type of cute top, and I think this one looks both current and classic. It’s also incredibly comfortable.
And you can dress it up even more with the velvety blazer we saw in yesterday’s Fall Fashion | Work to Weekend post.
Sizing: The blazer fits TTS and I’m wearing my regular XS, although the sleeves were a slight bit long. You can scrunch them up some, for a more casual look.
I also found a great black knit blazer here (25% off) with adorable 3/4 tie sleeves. For a date night, that blazer with a simple white tee underneath looks cool and more dressed up.

One more look I didn’t get to share with you yesterday (sometimes the posts just get too long!) is the blazer with the adorable chevron sweater and black skirt. I’m so happy I found that A-line skirt, it’s hard to find a petite friendly option and I love the fit and quality of this one. And it’s under $50! But size up because it runs small.

I’m smitten with these earrings too- they’re from Target and a great deal!
We are thrilled to finally be getting some cooler temps, so we can actually wear these layered looks comfortably now! What’s the weather like in your part of the world?

I’m on the fence about the blazer. Do you think it would look good with the black shirt dress? I’m having a hard time finding something I like to wear over the dress to wear to work. The leopard cardigan was out of stock in my size. Thanks!
Hi Patrice, I think the blazer works better over a dress or top that is more slim fitting- that shirt dress is probably too wide for it. That cardi comes in other colors and patterns though or another cardigan could also work.
