Did anyone else find it hard to get moving this week after the Thanksgiving break?! We sorta got our groove back by yesterday, but man, I am really ready for this weekend again! It always feels like December is a busy month with all the parties and planning, but I’m loving it! I’m planning on photographing more of our holiday decor over the weekend so I can share it with you next week. I’m going to add pink Christmas decor to the nursery just for fun in honor of the little girl on the way. I know I did the nursery in lavender, but I’ve been on a pink kick lately!
weekend steals & deals
I’m definitely in the holiday spirit, even wearing out my playful snowman sweater last weekend. Cute, even if I might be resembling the snowman shape myself right about now! 😉 The reversible scarf is unfortunately sold out, but I found a similar one here.
I didn’t realize it when I ordered this sweater, but it comes with a small removable device (that attaches on the inside) that plays music when you push the button! Ha! My son loved it, but I removed it because it felt bulky.
I usually shop almost only online, but being pregnant has had me visiting the store in person so I can try on things before I buy. I loved this grid open-front sweater cardigan, and it has pockets! Not that I’d put anything in them, but they are cute. I’m wearing XS/S.
It’s also about that time of year to break out the puffer vests! Mine from years past have held up well, but they are way too tight to wear this year. It seems Old Navy has the best deals on them (starting at just $15) and so many colors to choose from.
More sweaters are on sale, but I swear, it seems things are selling out so fast these days, so I apologize in advance if they aren’t there by the time you check. It’s so annoying, trust me, I know!
Old Navy Fair Aisle Sweater$39.94 $32
Who’s into fair aisle right now?! So festive and fun for this time of year!I was crazy for this contrasting cuff sweater. I tried on XS, but ended up getting a Small so it would be a little longer in the grey/bright yellow color/pattern. It comes in regular and petite too.
I wanted to try on this luxurious cashmere sweater (size Small pictured) because I was thinking of giving it as a gift, and I’m happy to report how soft it is and not at all scratchy. I’d prefer the V-neck so you could wear a nice necklace with it or layer a collared shirt underneath. Would definitely make a great gift, but my store didn’t have all the color options below in stock, so I’d order online. And take advantage of the FREE shipping.
GAP has 40% off with code HURRY this weekend. I really wanted this LOVE sweater (they also have Joy, Peace, and Happy), but they didn’t have the next size up. I’m wearing size Small here and it’s barely covering the bump.
The Pleione short sleeve (blue & purple, yellow, pink, red) and 3/4 sleeve tunics (teal) and (7 other colors) are great tops to have in your wardrobe because they fit well, can be dressed up or down and are thin enough to wear as layering pieces. They tend to run big, so you may want to order a size down. You can beat these sale prices!
I’m still wearing my red 3/4 sleeve tunic (size ) and it’s still fitting over my baby belly.
I didn’t feel comfortable with how this dress fit my pregnant body (and a size up would’ve been too big in the arms, but it might be super cute on you with the ribbed sweater material, cowl neck and elbow-length arms.
And this Leith v-neck dress is definitely body-con also, perfect for showing off this #26week baby bump, but it was still kinda long on my 5-foot frame (I tried on XS). It was a nice material and comes in a pretty purple and red too, so it might be perfect for you. And only $48!
