4TH OF JULY FOOD INSPIRATION

I turned to Pinterest for some easy food inspiration and it did not disappoint.  I found three easy recipes that are more assemble than cook, perfect for a hot day!

4TH OF JULY BERRY CAPRESE SALAD

On the healthier side, I found a Berry Caprese Salad at Jam Jar Kitchen.  This salad combines strawberries, blueberries, and mozzarella cheese.  It’s topped with pine nuts, fresh basil and balsamic vinaigrette.

4TH OF JULY CHARCUTERIE BOARD

I love putting together a charcuterie board and I love how patriotic this board looks from my friend Amanda, the Fashionable Hostess. I like how she amped up the touches of green with sprigs of fresh rosemary.

4TH OF JULY ANGEL FOOD CAKE WITH FRESH BERRIES

Ooh, this dessert from Hooiser Homemade looks so good and also easy to assemble.  You can use store bought angel food cake and then layer it with whip cream and berries.  Fresh mint completes the presentation. Yummy!
