How I Organize My Pantry
Hello friend! I hope you are doing awesome and having a great week! Since it’s January, I know lots of us have fitness and home organization on our minds. I’m kind of organization obsessed year round and today I’m taking you inside my walk-in pantry to share how I keep it organized and user friendly.
First, I’ll share a broad overview of the entire pantry, then how I’ve organized it in sections based on our needs.
I still remember when we toured the open house for this home back in February 2022. When I walked through the kitchen and got to this little door that led to the pantry, I was blown away when I opened it!
Toaster • Air Fryer • Lidded Baskets • OXO Containers • Cordless Lamp
This pantry is massive with floor to ceiling organization drawers and shelves. It even has a ladder rail and wooden ladder.
Toaster • Air Fryer • Lidded Baskets • Glass Jars • Keurig • Baking Dishes
Plus, tons of wooden counter space that saves me room in my kitchen since I can keep lots of small appliances hidden away in here.
Lidded Baskets • OXO Containers • Short Open Storage Baskets • Cordless Lamp
The drawers pull out and are nice and deep. I added large woven baskets to keep some of our things neatly concealed.
Lidded Baskets • Glass Jars • Labels • Keurig
And on the shelves, I’ve been slowly adding to my collection of glass jars to store our dry goods. The minimal labels do help keep things organized. If I need to print instructions or write an expiration date, I can do that on the bottom of the glass jar.
I use my Keurig for decaf coffee in the evenings. My ember mug is the one that keeps your coffee hot at your exact desired temperature via the app. It’s amazing and you aren’t tied to a coffee warmer or having to reheat your coffee 50 times in the microwave.
Cordless Lamp • Toaster • Air Fryer • Short Open Storage Baskets
Our toaster and air fryer get nearly daily use and it’s nice to be able to keep them out on the counter here for easy access. It doesn’t hurt that the Beautiful line of kitchen appliances is really pretty.
They come in several different colors, so you can choose your favorite.
Since we have so much room in the pantry, I can easily store my cookbooks and some bowls and vase decor.
I try to just keep on hand the food we actually eat. The pack of labels have every food imaginable so we had many extra. I have the smaller jars on top and the larger ones on bottom.
Pumpkin Dutch Oven • Glass Jars
Black and White Dishes • Short Open Storage Baskets • Bistro Tile Salt & Pepper Set • Black Salt & Pepper Grinder Set
On the left hand size are more vases. The smaller floral vases are stored in the kitchen cabinet.
And I keep our potatoes and onions in this two-tier organizer.
Red Cast Iron Dutch Oven • White Cast Iron Casserole Skillet
Toaster • Air Fryer • Lidded Baskets
I was lucky to find these lidded woven baskets at Pottery Barn. They fit the drawers perfectly with room to spare.

Inside the top basket is baking goods and chocolate treats. I keep the things inside the basket organized “good enough.” I don’t worry about being too particular, but try to go through things regularly to make sure they’re still good, tossing out anything expired.
I received some specialty coffee beans and pancake mix at Christmas, so I have those off to the side to remember to use so I don’t accidentally reorder before using what I have.

And in the lower basket are dessert decorations like sprinkles and cookie cutters.
The middle section of drawers gets the most use so I don’t have a lidded basket there.
On top we have bread and things for the kids’ school snacks – crackers, chips, protein bars, granola bars and then some canned goods. I replenish those often (marinara sauce, chicken broth, peanut butter and canned beans) so I don’t keep a big back stock of those items.
Below that is our baking items like sugars and flour. I also have pasta and taco shells and my bag of protein powder.

To the left is lesser used items like my warming mat, ice cream containers, big aluminum foil that doesn’t fit elsewhere and some grill tools.

The bottom drawer has our extra lunch bags and to the left of that is gourmet BBQ sauce that I got at a white elephant party at Christmas. I’m not sure we’ll use all of it, so may need to donate to my brother.
Tineco Floor Cleaner • Dog Food Container
The pantry is large enough that I can store Luke’s food in this rolling bin and also keep our mop and vacuum stored away.
Dyson Stick Vac • Tineco Floor Cleaner • Dog Food Container
I’m so thankful to have this big pantry. Since I shared my pantry with you two years ago, I’ve decluttered several things, so there is much more breathing room now. It’s taken some trial and error to get things working efficiently, but I think we’re in a good spot now!

And if you need some help with where to start with decluttering, here’s my top tips. Last year, decluttered 500 things in a weekend and I’m still feeling the benefits!
