Hi friend! Yay for Friday and only ONE MORE SLEEP until the wedding!! When I wake up tomorrow, I’ll be getting married!! I literally cannot even believe it! I’ve been on such a cloud all week and just so excited and thankful to get to have Elliott as my husband!
I wish you could all be there to celebrate with us! I have to say you have been so wonderfully supportive of me and my journey over these last several years and I appreciate it so very much! My heart is overflowing!
In my latest vlog, I shared more behind-the-scenes with you and also an update on my hearing loss and how I journal.
We had a few little details to iron out this week, including having to get Elliott a new suit at the last minute because the alterations made his pants wayyyy too short and there wasn’t enough fabric to let them back out. :/ Minor crisis but it’s all good now and he looks so handsome and good in his new suit!
The shoes I ordered were a tad too big and didn’t come in a smaller size, but no prob because I found a nearly identical pair at Amazon and they were a much better price.
Here are the first pair I ordered, gorgeous but just too big.
With all these final preparations, I’ve been relying big time on dry shampoo to save time. This one by K18 is new and very cool – unlike any I’ve tried before because it actually sprays damp into your hair but doesn’t disturb your style. It dries completely clear with no irritating white residue. It freshens and absorbs oil and odor for us to three days.
I’m also LOVING my new red light therapy mask! It’s so cool because it lets you customize the type of treatment based on your specific skincare concerns.

We were both CRAZY for these Flying Banana jeans. Funny name, GREAT jeans! They are so comfortable and fit and flattered both of our frames!

Here are those Flying Banana jeans on Ali-Shaun. She had to fly to New York for work after this and said she ended up wearing the jeans on the flight home because they were so comfortable. She said she never flys in jeans, but that she was able to make an exception here.
The lively sweater says Merry & Bright in multidimensional letters. Very fun!

How fun is this bright red maxi dress for holiday?! And, it’s a stretchy knit so it’s easy to move in with perfectly placed side rushing and a mock neck.

This dress fits Ali-Shaun’s style perfectly! She loves a shirt dress and this one also has pockets and comes in several colors. It also looks good belted.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this sweater dress. It’s a lightweight ribbed knit with buttons down the front and a soft collar so you can make it work from day to night.

Also scored these ADORABLE pajamas from Walmart and they are so cute and soft! They’re going fast though!
Our kitchen hand towels were getting so grody from staying wet after we hand dry dishes. I found these that quick dry and don’t hold onto any odor so they stay fresh! They come in all kinds of fun colors and seasonal patterns. I liked them so much I ordered a second set!
If you’re hosting Thanksgiving and in need of new flatware, I’m so impressed with the weight, quality and style of this silverware. It also feels good in your hand. I bought ours last year before Thanksgiving and they’ve held up great! They are our everyday silverware now and look good as new even with all the dishwashing!

I have several new sweater styles for you and I’m smitten with this v-neck. I really like the way it blouses over, and the white trim at the neckline and hems.
I paired it with a new style of jeans also from Amazon. They’re high waisted, relaxed straight leg with raw edge hem, and I think they’re really cute and easy to style.
