We got so much rain and were carefully watching Kingwood, praying that Elliott’s house wouldn’t flood since he’s close to the lake. Thankfully, he and his home are safe and dry, but my heart and prayers go out to those affected. What a mess and hardship when your house is filled with water.

I had been using the cleansing balm, but I have tried CR’s new Gentle & Clear line that’s designed for blemish prone, sensitive, and reactive skin and I LOVE IT!
I’ve been using the Purifying Cleanser every night and following it up with the Gentle & Clear Weightless Moisturizer.
The Purifying Cleanser combines the anti-inflammatory power of micro silver and charcoal to help reduce and prevent skin imperfections. It lifts impurities and unclogs pores, leaving my face feeling soft and clean, not tight at all.
Bonus, the squeeze bottle is minimal and a soft clay color that looks nice sitting out on the tub. I wash my face over the tub at night so there’s no water splashes all over the sink.
I gave the Overnight Treatment to my teenage son. It can be applied evenly all over at night or as a spot treatment. It has witch hazel, azelic acid and licorice root to help get rid of blemishes and give you a clearer, smoother complexion.

So glad Elliott’s house was spared, praying for those who were not so fortunate! Just a reminder for those of us in flood prone areas – check your insurance coverage! Sadly flood damage is often not included. And as many in my area found out the hard way after hurricanes and tornadoes, insurance companies like to try to dispute whether damage was caused by flood vs wind/rain.
Very true. As a former lawyer, I told him to take video and photos of his home and contents so he’d have them in case of a claim.
