Hi friend! Yay for Friday! I’m really looking forward to the weekend! We actually don’t have anything on the agenda, but that’s why I’m excited! In a few weeks, the kids get to come to Brian’s company camp for a families’ trip and I can’t wait for that.
You saw a bit of what that’s like here and I’m so looking forward to sharing it with my kids. I think they’re really gonna love it!

DRESSING ROOM
Today I have several Summer friendly outfits to share with you and they’re from a variety of retailers. Look at Loft for a HUGE sale, Target for everyday great basics, and Bloomingdale’s for the cutest dresses!
AND, I also have a few things from Jockey, Amazon and Walmart!
My Size Reference: I’m short (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110 lbs. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XSP/XS in tops and dresses.

I’m SOOO crazy for these adorable striped shorts and they fit so well! It’s so hot, and if you want a comfortable pair of shorts that aren’t jean shorts, try these! They’re listed as “demin” but they feel like a soft cotton, with pockets and an elastic drawstring waist.
You’ll look a bit more put together than when wearing jean shorts, but they’re so easy to wear. Think of the stripes as a neutral and you can pair lots of different tops with them.

The sweater vest is from the Nordstrom Sale, but I think it’s currently sold out. Sometimes Nordstrom restocks or gets additional inventory when people return items, so look for it to return.
These jeans are SO GOOD! They’re a straight, high waist crop style that feels great on and a perfect alternative to your skinnies. The light indigo wash is really pretty without any distressing or rips. They come with a cord tie belt, that I ended up removing.

Isn’t this top pretty?! The vibrant red really pops and the crochet flutter sleeves are a cute touch.

I’m a fan of cardigans year round and keep one in my office at all times. This one is a textured crochet knit with 3/4 length sleeves, perfect for not having to keep scrunching your sleeves and getting to show off your bracelets.

The color on this sweater is gorgeous! I sized down for a more fitted fit, but size up if you want it more slouchy.

This top is a keeper for sure! It’s a darling sweatshirt that gets a kick with the poppy puff sleeves. The white skinny jeans have a high waist and fun raw edge hem.

Loft always has a great selection of dress that are work appropriate, such as this one. I’m seeing a lot of tropical inspired prints, but this one is a bit subdued with the muted colors.
This dress is midi length, buttons down the front and cinches at the waist. And, it has pockets.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing a 0P
A similar print with a bit more punch in the color is this tie waist dress. It’s nice and silky feeling with an easy-to-wear silhouette. The sleeves are 3/4 with a comfortable elastic.
These mules are the ones I shared on Goodies this week! I love how versatile they are and the chunkier heel makes them easy to walk in. They’re also a great price and come in more colors. They fit TTS.

At Target, I found this cute smocked waist skirt and had fun styling it up four different ways for you! First, I paired it with a mustard yellow bodysuit and that color compliments the skirt well.

The Tory Burch Miller sandals are the new ones that are designed with better cushion and seamless insole. The reviews said to order your true size, which I did, but I still think I need to size down half. Do you prefer the updated style or old style.

The fedora is a great buy, under $20 and you can adjust the size! I’m wearing color “X-Belt Khaki”.

Throw on a jean jacket when it gets chillier and pair with booties.

For now, a white tunic tee looks great with the crochet sandals. You could tuck in the top if you prefer.

For casual weekends, you can’t go wrong with Target’s v-neck tee- it’s a great style and only $8! I paired it with sneakers for running errands. A ball cap would be a good idea here too.

And this brand of Target pajamas are SO GOOD! I love wearing these, they fit TTS, are so soft and feel cool against your skin. They have a good bit of stretch. If I don’t want to wear the button down top, I’ll wear a tank to sleep in with the shorts.

I love shopping Bloomingdale’s for styles I don’t see anywhere else and they usually have a good in-stock selection. Several of their brands are comparable in prices to Nordstrom – I steer clear of the super expensive designer items.
Bloomingdale’s also has FREE shipping & FREE returns, and they currently have a sale, up to 25% off select items.
This top is a unique and so pretty in person! I just wish I size up to a small!

I love how summery this white top is with the double ruffles and crochet bodice. It looks good with jeans (these are Amazon Levi’s- a perfect crop length), but also goes well with shorts.

Isn’t this top fun?! It would be perfect for a lively evening out or even a daytime soiree! The model wore it with white wide leg jeans and that looks so cute. You can adjust the shoulders.

I’m crazy for the mixed patterns and deep sea blue color on this dress. The fabric is crafted and hand stamped in Africa as part of the brand’s mission to support local artisans, create jobs and educate. Isn’t that cool?

You’ll definitely be party ready in this hot pink dress (it also comes in black). It’s such a statement outfit with the exaggerated sleeves, deep v neck and mini skirt. The back has a cute keyhole triangle, so you look great coming and going.

Ooh, this dress has a fun surprise with that thigh high slit, but you only see a peek of it unless you’re trying to show it off. The square bodice ties in a small keyhole front.

JOCKEY
I got a few things in from Jockey that you’ll want to live in! ♥
These are the first joggers I found that rival my beloved Vuori! They ultra soft with stretch and feel so luxurious and lightweight on. They have an elastic, drawstring waist and pocket.
Plus, they’re only $12 on sale!!!! Now I want the silver/blue and rose!
Jogger Fit: I’m wearing XS and they’re a bit long
The cami is a thin, super soft knit, very stretchy and a great base layer under the amazing cardigan! The cardigan is on sale for just $14, regularly $44! It’s also super soft with a jersey knit and open design, high/low hem and pockets

Tank Fit: I’m wearing an XS and it’s fitted
Man, I’m SO bummed this dress isn’t available in XS! I ordered a Small with fingers crossed, but it was too big across the hips. I pinned it in the back in the photos so you could see more of how it’s supposed to fit. It’s AWESOME- such a perfect out-and-about dress – OMG, I just looked and it’s actually named “Out and About”! Ha! It’s listed as black, but it’s more dark grey in person- which I actually prefer.

I have to say the Target ones are pretty comfy! I’ll fix my laces like she did and also so I don’t have to keep tying!

These cute Target sneakers arrived just as I was finishing up this post! They’re equal parts cute and comfy- perfect now, on into Fall!

These crop jeans are new and already in heavy rotation! I love the crop length that I didn’t have to alter and, because they don’t have any rips and they’re a darker wash, they look more polished.
I liked the sweater vest so much that I bought it in two colors.

Seriously the softest long sleeve tee that you’ll want to sleep in it!
The light wash is really pretty on these jeans and they sit comfortably above the waist. I rolled the cuff since they’re long on me, but I may get them altered.

For a girls night, you could wear this rusched 3/4 sleeve smocked top. It’s flirty with the smocked part emphasising a chest – so bear that in mind. I’m wearing the “curds and whey” tan, but the bright pink sure is fun!

Sassy! This maxi dress feels like your soft t-shirt, but with lightly padded sleeves. I like how the cutouts are on the sides- perfect for showing just a bit of skin!

Over the years, I’ve found several keepers from Walmart, including this cute floral peplum tank and the affordable jean shorts.
