Well, Easter is Sunday and although we definitely have plans to go to church and my mom’s house afterward (and of course outfits picked out!), none of the other fun Easter things that go along with this special holiday have been done. I haven’t decorated our dining room or table and I still need to put together an Easter basket for our son. I was smitten with the little bird’s nests I incorporated into our Easter table a couple years ago, but it’s all I can do lately to just browse Pinterest for ideas, knowing full well that incorporating any of them into my real life is probably just a dream right now!
Unless there’s a craft or recipe that calls for breastfeeding a baby while you do it, it ain’t happening around here anytime soon. I actually tried to cook dinner this week while my husband was still at work. I got about halfway through before Jordan needed attention and I couldn’t put her down. Well, I guess I could have, but I still would rather hold her than let her cry too long. #whippedalready
Pinterest holds my hand and keeps me company during lots of feeding times. You can join me and follow my boards here. I’m sure I spend way too much time on that site . . . but look at the cool Easter things I found!

How cute is this color combo and the bunny sitting in faux grass?!
If you want something easy to do with your young kids, with items you have on hand already, this is for you! Should keep em busy for at least a little while!
We cannot forget about decorating eggs! Which reminds me we need to go to the grocery store. I’ve always wanted to try this shaving cream method that leaves your eggs with a cool, marbled effect. Have you tried it?
I have a feeling my son would love these, especially given the “emoji text poster” he just sent to Cassie a few days ago! You just have to shake your head and smile when you find things like this on your phone. 😉
Today’s recipe comes all the way from my beloved, late Great Grandma, and it was passed down to me by my Grandma. My Grandma is a great cook and she’s…
How’s your week going friends?  I’m just over here counting down the days ’til the 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale like a kid at Christmas!  It’s so close, opening this Thursday for cardholders.  ??I got a friendly letter in the mail letting me know they upped my limit just in time for the sale- #thankyouverymuch!  We’ll keep this little detail to ourselves and not bother the hubby with that tidbit of info!  😉  Are you excited?!?! Of course, I’ll be sharing my picks on Thursday and then a big ‘ole dressing room round up on Friday with fit tips and recommendations. Let me know what you have questions about and I’ll do my best investigative journalism for ya!
This swingy striped! cold shoulder dress is perfect for daytime or evenings out. Â Love the simplicity of it and the drapey fabric. Â Such a steal at right under $50! Â For a daytime look, you could wear it with the #10 sandals (they have lots of colors) & for evening, these black open toe heeled sandals would be great.
Show off your summer mani with this gorgeous, chic statement ring! I like to wear it on my first or middle finger on my right hand with a bold bracelet.
I’m sure you’ve heard me rave about this maxi dress before. Â Every time I wear it, I get tons of compliments and it’s really flattering and comfortable. Â It’s on sale under $40! Â I wear XS.
High waist leggings will be your BFF, I swear! Â They keep you all nice and tucked in and make you feel great while working out. Â Zella quality is always superb, and this pair comes in three colors with criss-cross detail at the calf. Â They run TTS, I wear size XS.
Although I normally wear a tank to workout, this Zella tee is my go-to when I want a t-shirt. Â The seams in the shirt are perfectly placed to help the illusion of a smaller waist and I like the cut of the sleeves that don’t irritate me when I’m working out.
My go-to tank, $11!!! Â I think I need to stock up on the other colors. Â It’s perfect for wearing alone or layering under cardigans or other tops. Â It fits TTS, XS here.
I have the older version of these sandals and they are really good! They come in tons of colors and the “beige leather” has a snakeskin pattern that goes with everything. Â Sam Edelman makes quality shoes that last, so I highly recommend them!
Can I just say I love you guys?!?! Â You had me at, “Get the pillow!!” Â Even Christina said she feels like she needs a Snoogle after reading the comments and…
Shut the front door- the Silhouette machine cuts not only paper, but fabric now too?!?! How brilliant is that? Am I the last one to know about this?? And Silhouette…
Hi friends! I’m trying something new this week to shake up the semi-funk I’ve been in lately with my workouts. I only worked out once last week because I felt…
I have always wanted to enter one of those fitness bikini competitions, but never have. My first one will be July 5, 2014! via Jamie Eason has been my inspiration…

Such cute ideas! Don't forget Resurrection Rolls! 🙂
Do you have a swing for Jordan? I relied on the swing to help soothe while preparing meals. Also, easy one pan or crock pot dishes. You can prepare those while she is napping or even if James can entertain her for 15 minutes. I have posted a few really quick and easy healthy one dish/pan meals lately that might help, all for the most part are minimal prep and clean up. I have to laugh because while my parents were here after I had my second, I was the one making dinner the night we brought her home!! I was glad I got into the routine so early as my parents left on a two week trip two days later and I had NO help. Feet to the fire. A very dear friend of mine who has four found it helpful to pump and allow another family member to feed just prior to dinner so she had time to cook. Might be an option. It gets easier, hang in there. Most days I was doing good in the beginning to get 20 minutes of bouncy seat time so I could shower and dress.
Yes, and actually put her in the swing yesterday and she slept the whole time I was making dinner!! One dish meals are the best! I kinda did that last night- sausage with peppers, onions, mushrooms and rice. Really easy and delicious. Having my mom here to help during the day is the biggest blessing.

I'll check it out!
How did you find time to organize your makeup the other day?
I try to be productive during naps! That weekend drawer project took the course of two days and several nap times! But glad I finally got it done!
