I recently mentioned that my son’s room still looks more like a nursery than a toddler room, even though he just turned three. Over the weekend, we took the first step toward a big boy room- removing the changing table part from his dresser. It came right off, I just had to use a wood pen to paint over some surface scratches.
And now it looks much more like a dresser!
For now, I’ve accessorized it with a large textured raffia tray from West Elm, some books, a Target lamp, animals, and a print from Penny Paper Co.

We're in the same boat at my house…just converted my son to a bed 🙁 I also bought him his first underwear, and then nearly had a breakdown…all too much to take in for one week!
Love the little transformation to the changing table!
Be sure to check out toddler beds on craigslist.
How fun, that is such a sweet little art print, too!
Looks great! Loving the print!

We are getting to the point where we are about to have to start making changes to my little girls room. It's so sad that they all grow up so quickly.
Baby steps are steps! I love it. So nice it could so easily go from a changing table to a dresser. They grow so quickly, don't they?!
I love how you accessorized it. I was so glad we bought both girls dressers that the changing table top came off of. They used them for years!
that framed print is just darling!
Baby steps= big difference. Love the tray you picked.
Looks so cute! The tray is great 🙂
Looks great, Megan! Love the colors and the raffia tray. He's going to have a very stylish 'big boy' room!
