Hello friends and happy Wednesday! We are soaking up the very last days of summer break over here. We spent the morning at the pool, Jordan took a giant nap,…
Hi there, Honey We’re Healthy readers! I’m back with a little something I haven’t done before here on Megan’s blog – dessert! I’m a big believer in moderation when…
Good morning friends! What a week it has already been! Actually the last month has been a whirlwind! February was Valentine’s Day, followed four days later by Jordan’s birthday, then…
Are you guys enjoying your Christmas break? It’s been a long and lazy last few days around here and I don’t know how many more cookies and cake and goodies…
I recently mentioned that an injury was plaguing me and, unfortunately, it hasn’t gotten any better. It’s my right hamstring or maybe some kind of sciatic nerve pain from being…
In years’ past, I’ve sometimes struggled at the last minute (haaate that!) with selecting a perfect gift for someone, so this year I’ve put together a little Holiday Gift Guide…
Hi! I’m Megan, mom to a thoughtful teenager and spunky young girl. We call Houston home and recently moved into our dream home. I traded my lawyer hat to become a full-time blogger in 2010. I love sharing my passion for affordable fashion, home decor, organization, & fitness to help inspire you to take care of you!
Oh.my.goodness!! I think you have my dream house. How did that happen? Especially my dream kitchen. You chose EVERYTHING I want. Subway tile, white cabs…yea, everything. haha. Love the wainscoting. What about a silver tone chandy in the living room to tie everything together? Since you are having stainless pendant lights, that will match the breakfast room chandelier too. Just a thought. 🙂
Have I mentioned I LOVE YOUR HOME??? Meow!!
Thanks girlie! I would love to have you over. You can give me some decorating advice.
I didn't notice in any of the newer photos if you decided to replace the breakfast room chandelier, but if you did and have considered selling it, we certainly might be interested. That's very similar to several fixtures we've looked at but haven't convinced ourselves to splurge on.
Our dining room came with a large, rustic, iron chandelier that's great for scale, but totally wrong for our slightly more contemporary tastes.
Hi Megan,
I had fun looking through some of your old posts and seeing your beautiful house come together.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

ughhhh! I just looked through this and am in heaven! your choices are flawless. I would lose endless nights of sleep imagining how to organize the pantry. And the area for wine . . . I knew I liked you! truly gorgeous
