Holiday Gift Guide {For the Home}

In years’ past, I’ve sometimes struggled at the last minute (haaate that!) with selecting a perfect gift for someone, so this year I’ve put together a little Holiday Gift Guide series early so you and I don’t suffer the same fate.  I tried to find items that I know I’d love to receive and that were reasonably priced.  Today, I’ll be featuring gifts for the home, and later on, I’ll be sharing my gift guide for the fashionista; the paper lover; and for him.  I may need to do a round 2 of the ‘For the Home’ since I’m seeing so many great things lately. Monogrammed Acryllic Tray {$15} I first saw this tray here and immediately bookmarked it.  Can you believe the price?  Monogrammed anything makes a good gift in my opinion. image Pillows by Plush Studio {$20 & $28} It is me or are beautiful pillows in cool fabrics all the rage these days? image image Jonathan Adler Geek Key Throw {$49.95} JA + black and white + Greek key = Fabulous  image Z Gallerie Suzani Collection {$9.95 to $99.95} If your recipient loves objects d’art, I think they would like these. image West Elm Curved Baskets {$29-$54} How can you go wrong with a basket?  And these are functional and unique looking with their curves. image  West Elm Nature Entertaining Set {$29} These are really fun and I love the rectangular shape.  Perfect for serving food or for holding jewelry. image Zhush Shop’s Herringbone Photo Frames {$30} Say what you will about a frame not being an imaginative gift, but these are seriously awesome.  In fact, they are currently backordered, but will be available in the first week of December. image Pier One Gold Bowl {$29.95} A decorative bowl can be used in so many ways- in the kitchen to hold fruit, in the living room for remote controls, or on a bookshelf simply looking pretty. image Restoration Hardware Plush Throws {$29} I have three of these and have given them as gifts too.  They are small 45″ x 65″, the perfect size for snuggling on the sofa.  And $29 is the best price I’ve seen, I think they are normally $49. image image Crate & Barrel Christmas Ornaments {Starting at $2.95} Christmas ornaments are a great gift because you can find one that suits the recipient’s personality for a very small investment.  And it’s so fun to pull out that ornament each year and remember who gave it to you. image image image image image image La Crema Chardonnay {$10-$15} When all else fails, wine is usually a winner.  I don’t know much about wine, but I know I love this one, and most people I know do too. image Happy shopping!  Have you started yet?  I haven’t actually made any purchases, but I’m getting ideas.

    Such a great list! I love that tray and haven't seen it. Under one of those throws right now. They are such great gifts and I definitely haven't seen it at that price. You might have persuaded me to get my gift giving in order! 🙂

    Christmas is kinda different this year for my little family. Since most of them are off to the Philippines we have decided to just do gifts for the little kids and my grandmother. {The trip is quite $$$$.}

    That being said..I am almost done with my little one.I learned my lesson last year and bought all the stuff he wanted this year ASAP. You should have seen me driving all over Louisville in search for a view finder. NEVER AGAIN! 🙂

    Oooohhh…but I would love to scum shop {that is what we call it when we buy for ourselves during the season of giving} and get one of those throws. They look heavenly!!

    Cheers~

    Great gift ideas!
    I actually started shopping in Oct. and had half of my gifts wrapped by the 3rd of November (okay, I was having a baby so I tried to be ahead of the game). I still have a few more to wrap and like 5 more people to shop for, but I'm glad I'm not rushing around to the stores this year!
    ps…my tree has been up since 11/3! haaa I know….I know..

    Monograms are the best. Simple and always a great gift for anyone. I guess I answered my own question as to what to get my Father and Step-mom this year for Christmas lol!

    Great gift ideas! I really love those pillows and the monogrammed tray. I've given the RH throws and the C&B ornaments before, and they were a hit. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) when I find awesome home gifts I usually end up going "ok, one for you…and one for me." Who says we can't give ourselves a little Christmas gift too, right 🙂

    Such great finds, I am definitely putting a few of those on my list for people! We haven't done any shopping yet either, the hubby and I are those people that seem to do it all in one day like the 2nd week of December, I probably shouldn't admit that out loud! 🙂

    Thanks for the amazing ideas! Those RH throws are the best ever. Can't wait to see your other recommendations. I am having a hard time this year coming up with gifts (and my husband's birthday is 3 weeks before Christmas, so it's a double whammy).
