Hi friend! I hope you’re doing amazing! We’re midway through the week and now I’m seeing my weeks in terms of miles run and always looking forward to the longer run on the weekend.
I ran 8 miles on Sunday (the furthest I’ve ever run in my life) and I’m going for 9 miles this Sunday. I’ve been updating you on Stories if you want to follow along! There’s a highlight called RUN you can watch.

Today, we’re switching gears to Spring Break, which is happening or fast approaching for many of us! Our Spring Break is next week and Brian and I are heading to Cozumel for a few days.

And for anyone curious, I don’t have any plans to get married anytime soon. When you’ve been happily dating someone for over a year, people inevitably wonder whether you will be getting hitched. I’m so happy in my relationship and it’s going great, so that there aren’t any plans to change it. We’ve both been married before and have kids, so there’s a lot of experience and hearts to consider.
Hi friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! I had a productive Monday, which always feels great. My workout was just what I needed and I’m so thankful that I’ve been getting lots of good sleep lately. Maybe because I’ve gotten Jordan back into her own bed.
And I’m working on going to sleep earlier, so I wake up feeling rested. It’s incredible how much your mood and energy improves when you’re giving your body the rest it needs.

Hi friends! How was your weekend? We’ve been enjoying the most beautiful weather here in Houston. It’s been sunny and warm, not too hot with a bit of a breeze. If I didn’t know better, I’d swear we were in California – land of no humidity. #jealous We know the swamplike temps will be here soon, so this kind of weather makes us all want to get outside.
We had a backyard crawfish boil for my nephew’s third birthday on Saturday and I also took the kids to the park both days. We walked (James biked) for extra exercise.

Hi friends! The best thing about a long weekend is a short week! The kids were off school on Monday, and it’s almost the weekend again!
Today, I’m excited to get a haircut. I was growing it longer for awhile, but I’m ready to chop off a couple inches again and maybe bring my bangs up a little. I think it will suit me better for summer and just be easier to take care of and style. And I’m all about simplicity these days.

When it comes to packing for Spring Break, how hard can it be?? If you’re heading somewhere warm, all you need is a swimsuit, jeans shorts, and flip flops, right?! Well, maybe a little more than that! We’re doing an impromptu two-day getaway and when I started packing, I realized I have a few essentials I’ll definitely be bringing with me.

On Saturday, we found out our friend Tarah and her hubby are having a GIRL! At our age, having a new baby in the friend group is so fun for all of us girlfriends. This is gonna be one little baby that has a lot of aunties spoiling her!
