On Honey We’re Healthy: Bikini Contest Prep- 6 Weeks Out Progress Update
Hi all! I hope you had a lovely and productive weekend. I was quite busy with a couple of projects, including an advent calendar that I plan to show you…
I saw this jewelry organizer in my Container Store catalog and I thought it was so cute- for only $18! It’s nice to be able to see your necklaces and…
Today we’re making it a pool day with the kids and Grandma and my two nieces. We’ve been looking forward to it all week. It’s getting HOT here, about to…
You can easily spread Christmas cheer throughout your home, into the kitchen, by adding just a few decorative items, things you probably already own. When I finally invested in a…
Something about banquette seating just says relaxed and comfortable to me. I love it paired with unique chairs and patterned cushions. I originally wanted this in our home, but didn’t…

Hi! I’m Megan, mom to a thoughtful teenager and spunky young girl. We call Houston home and recently moved into our dream home. I traded my lawyer hat to become a full-time blogger in 2010. I love sharing my passion for affordable fashion, home decor, organization, & fitness to help inspire you to take care of you!

Nice to know! I ditch my foundation and lipstick after the right time, but I'm sure I still have eyeliner from High School!
I think I need to tackle my makeup hoard! Thanks for the time outline. Looking forward to popping by the other post later. 🙂
This is good to know!
I read this post over at IHeart Organizing. Great post! Love how you organized your make up.
Great post! I worked in Beauty for a couple of the top beauty companies and even though the above timeline is correct, I really would recommend tossing products earlier. If you still have a blush after 2 years you are probably not using it, so toss it and make room for a new one!
Thanks for the chart. I wonder how many people really try and follow the toss out guidelines? I try to because it gives me an excuse to go shopping! 🙂
Hi Megan! I wasn't sure if you were going to get a notification from the IHeartOrganizing blog comments, but I wanted to share with you here also that your makeup post inspired me to spiff up my own makeup storage drawers with Washi tape. Here's the result – http://www.the-organizing-boutique.com/makeup-storage-drawers.html. Thank you for the inspiration and have a great week!
