Hi friends! Happy Halloween!  I’m sending a darling pumpkin and Paul McCartney to school today, then will be back later for the costume contest and class parties.  The kids at our school go all out on costumes and it always blows me away at how creative and cool they are.  I’ll try to share some on Stories!

I cannot believe we are already at the end of October and it has been a whirlwind.  October was the first full month that my divorce was final.  I thought I had grown and been through a lot last year,

How are we already at the end of August?!  Shannon and I were just talking yesterday and she remarked that once September hits, it always feels like Christmas is just around the corner.  September also is when I try to stop buying toys for my kids because we need to leave some things for Santa to bring!

But, before we dive into the August rewind, I wanted to send my sincere thank you for your kind comments on my lawyer story.  I had no idea y’all would be interested in it and that alone touched me deeply. 

Omg, we finally made it to the last day of school!  It felt like it would never get here!  Today, there’s a mass and classroom party, followed by a pool party at our friend’s house.  Hopefully, the weather cooperates – it’s been threatening to rain lately.

Yay for the weekend!  I’m always thrilled when Fridays roll around!  I feel like we’re starting our weekend early because James got out of school at noon yesterday and we took advantage of it and spent the afternoon at the pool!  He gets out at 12:00 again today, so we’ll be getting together with some friends for lunch.  Then the pool again?? Sounds good to me!

MARCH REWIND

I can’t believe we’re at the end of March already!  That means only 9 weeks of school left! Yippee!!  Here’s a look back at March on the blog in case you missed it!

How in the world are we almost to December?! This year has seriously flown by and November was no exception.  I have gotten our Christmas decor up and can’t wait to show you!  I even bought a few gifts yesterday so I’m feeling good!

This month I’ve had a lot to be thankful for. November is always a time to reflect on what and who you love most, but this particular November was really special for me!  Thank you so much for your genuine enthusiasm over the Gibson x Glam holiday collection!  You have no idea how thrilled I am that you love it as much as I do! 

Yesterday was a good one!  I got lots of those do-to’s done, including finally arranging for the wallpaper to get hung in James’ room!  The installer is coming today!  We just might get his room finished in time for him to head back to school!
