Hi all!  I hope you had a fantastic weekend!  I just returned from working with one of my first clients organizing her clothes closet.  It feels so good to see the excitement on her face as we pretty things up and make the space more user-friendly for her.  We worked for about two hours, and are almost done!  I’ll be sure to post the before and after pictures soon (she already gave me permission. 🙂 This week wraps up our series of wonderful guest posts regarding getting ORGANIZED in 2011.   I love today’s post from the talented Chris of Just a Girl. 

I’m like a kid in a candy store with all of these fabulous organizational posts from some of my favorite people.  I’ve been busy working on organizing my pantry in preparation for a post next week . . . I’m also REALLY so excited to share that I have 2 clients (yay!) that I get to do some organizing for in the near future.  Both women have agreed to let me share the ‘before’ and ‘after’ shots with you, so I can’t wait to show you!  I’ll be starting with a bathroom for one gal and a clothes closet for the other. 

Happy Monday to You!  Over the weekend, I visited a friend at her house to discuss how I could help her get her home organized and running more efficiently.  She has a two year-old son and a baby due in two weeks, and needs some help with a few areas in her house, specifically, the bathroom, closets, and mudroom.  Our mutual friend actually retained me to help her organize these spaces because she knows I have a (not-so-secret-anymore) desire to become a professional organizer!  I am excited to announce that I am now offering my organization services to clients in the Houston area. 

I’m thrilled to introduce you to my friend Emily, author of Name 5 Things, who I’ve recently discovered is kinda like my twin in many respects:)  We actually live about 10 miles apart, are both lawyers, have babies (although hers are the furry kind!) and I’ve spotted many things around her home that I also have in mine!  If you haven’t been to her blog, I encourage you to check it out- I’m certain you will love what you see!   ********** I was flattered when Megan asked me to participate in her organizing series to start off the new year! 

I’m making tons of progress on the home-organization front.  Simply LKJ has totally inspired me to organize all of my kitchen drawers and pantry too!  I’ll post some pictures soon.  When I saw Lauren’s organized kitchen, I was blown away!  This is an organizer’s DREAM kitchen!  She thought of everything to make her life, and especially mealtimes, run smoothly.  Let me know what you think too!  ********** Hi everyone!  I am super excited to be here at Honey We’re Home.   I adore Megan and her blog, so naturally I said yes when asked to guest post for her Organization Series.
