Our Home Featured at 6th Street Design School

Earlier in the week while I was writing the post about the blogs you liked and sharing some of my favorites, Kirsten of 6th Street Design School emailed me and said that she recently found my blog and was interested in featuring our home on her blog.  Whoa!  Seriously?!  It was so funny because her blog was one of the blogs I listed as a new daily read for me. When I got the email, it was pretty late and I was on my computer in bed, trying to type quietly while my husband slept.

HWH Blog Design by Fabulous K

HWH Blog Design by Fabulous K

You may have noticed that Honey We’re Home got a makeover recently, courtesy of Kelly at Fabulous K Creative.  I stumbled upon Kelly’s blog last year around this time and was immediately smitten.  I loved all of her posts, including her holiday posts about her and her mom’s home.  When I began blogging in May 2010, I was elated to discover that she designs blogs for blogger.  Her designs are just the best, most stylish, beautiful, creative, modern,  simple, lovely . . . I could go on gushing forever.  And she was very patient with me to perfect my blog design to my liking.

Where I Blog

Where I Blog

Kate at Centsational Girl posed this question over the weekend: I love the idea of asking this question because I also often wonder about those types of details of people’s lives.   For me, I typically blog after my son has gone to sleep and my husband and I have eaten dinner and spent a little time together.  My place of choice is on the corner of our couch in the living room.   It’s a comfy spot to curl up in with my laptop, has a lamp, and is near an outlet so I can keep my computer plugged in.
