Hi friends! Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments and messages on yesterday’s fitness post. I know we all struggle with not enough hours in the day, but when we make time for ourselves, we get such a big payoff.
I feel like May is one of the busiest months of the year – so many school events, class projects, sports still in session, classroom parties to plan for and coordinate, and getting ready for summer with camps, etc. It’s a lot!

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! This has been such a busy week – we’ve been celebrating our wonderful teachers and school nurse, and they are so very appreciated. The kids brought flowers, handwritten notes and gift cards!
It’s also the school play this week. The kids have been rehearsing The Lion King since the beginning of January and the big performance is tomorrow. James is playing the role of “Young Simba” and I cannot wait to see it!

Hi friends, happy Wednesday! I spent yesterday playing with Jordan and catching up on life and it felt great! I like to keep my home relatively clean, but there are just those times it feels like a disaster, so I took advantage of Jordan’s nap time and got so much done! Kitchen, laundry, sweeping the floors, wiping down windows and mirrors. Felt so good!!
Now I just need to run to Target because I am dangerously low on my coffee creamer! #yikes

Man, I know it’s Wednesday, but I feel like it’s Monday x 3! Jordan didn’t sleep well Monday night, which means yesterday was rough. And every time that happens, I can’t help but think of you new mama that aren’t getting enough sleep. Sending so much love and good energy to you!

Hi friends! I hope you’re having a super week! I’ve felt so productive because I came back from Spring Break fired up to get back on track with my eating and exercise and it’s been so good! I’ve been up everyday at 5 am (which hurts at first, but definitely gets easier), and do my workouts from 6:30 to 7, then get the kids up. It’s such a great way to start the day!

Hello friends! My the time you’re reading this, we’ll probably be on our way out of town, off to get a few days away for Spring Break! The weather is all over the map- hot/rainy today, warm/cloudy tomorrow, then cold on Friday! Good morning friends! How’s your week going? I feel like February has been so busy! James’ baseball and basketball currently overlap and he’s also rehearsing for the school play, The Lion King. He was sooo excited yesterday to find out that he got the role of Young Simba! #proudmama They rehearse every week until the performance May, so they have lots of work to do.
And next weekend is Jordan’s 3rd birthday, so we’re busy preparing for that! We are back to land of bouncey place birthday parties, but with a Daniel Tiger theme this time.

Hi friends! I hope y’all are having a great week! I’m in the middle of the first week of Get Fit Done and the workouts are kicking my booty! But in a great way! I’ve always enjoyed doing workout classes at my gym with a group, but I hated having to drive all the way there, check in, find my class, and then drive back because it adds so much time to your workout.
Exercising at home cuts that time in half! Not to mention, saves the monthly membership fee. I’ve been getting a killer at-home in my foyer and I’m done before the kids are even out of bed!

Good morning Wednesday! How do we still have one more day of January?! I swear it feels like January has been 10 years long! Does it feel that way for you too? Monday was rough since I pulled an all-nighter preparing for the GFD Guide to go live. Luckily, I fell asleep early Monday night and woke up feeling so much better on Tuesday. It’s crazy what lack of sleep can do to you and amazing how good you feel when you catch up!
