Hi friend! Yaaayyyyy for Friday! I’m still feeling the stress from all the end of the school year things, but getting some good sleep and a few good walks and bike rides with Jordan is making me feel better.
And definitely calendaring everything and going through my schedule each day keeps me sane. Do you do that too? I asked y’all on Stories if you were feeling stressed out and most of you said yes. At least we’re in the same boat!

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses.

ABERCROMBIE SHORTS OUTFITS

I found a new pair of jean shorts to LOVE!! These are the high rise MOM jean from Abercrombie and they fit so well! I got the “Medium” color with a stitched hem, but they also come in raw edge hem for a more casual look.
These sewn hem shorts are the pair you want to wear when you want a chic looking jean short with a high waist, but not all chewed up and distressed. I’ve already worn them out to lunch and to Cidercade (if you go, bring a sweatshirt because the AC is cranked up high- which also makes it a fun summer outing).

Forever a fan of a sweater tank, and this one is really well made and the white goes with everything. I’m wearing it with my Kropt band for the cleanest front tuck look (HONEY10 gets you 10% off).
If you sometimes prefer a cropped tank so you don’t have to deal with any tucking issues, these come in a set of 4 different styles. You get racerback, high neck, halter and traditional styles. They’re a stretchy ribbed knit and not too thin. I really liked them, but am returning for a size up.

I like these tanks for layering under a cardigan, blazer or jacket too.
I treated myself to a new pair of running sneakers, Nike and ASICS tend to be my favorite brands of running shoes. I tested these out on Thursday and they had great cushion and felt really lightweight. My left ankle rubbed a bit, so I’ll wear these socks with them in the future – or at least until they’re broken in.

If you’re looking for a dressy short that’s on the longer side, you may like this pair. They’re five inches, high rise and tailored with pleat details and a button/zip fly. You can dress these up with a satin cami and blazer for work too.

Definitely a fan of these linen blend shorts! They’re so sassy, but still look polished. With a 3-inch inseam and pull on flat front, elastic back and pockets!

I also tried the shorts with this square neck linen top. It pulls on over your head with a seam down the back for added interest.

ABERCROMBIE DRESSES
This dress might be my favorite thing from Abercrombie right now! I cannot wait to wear it! The gorgeous blue and white pattern reminds me of a ginger jar in the best way. The dress fits perfectly and the shape is easy to wear. It has a smocked bodice with a cinched sweetheart neckline and ruffled shoulders. It’s midi length with pockets and also fully lined.

This dress is also a winner! The blue and white florals look so fresh and the dress ties in the back for an unexpected twist! I love how it has pockets and the ruching at the bodice is lovely. Since it has an empire waist, it makes your waist appear smaller than it is.

Look no further if you want a va va voom dress! This one brings the sex appeal with the high side slit and asymmetric hem. It’s a slim fitting midi dress with a v-neck and bra friendly shoulders. It also has a sexy deep V in the back and zips from there.

OMG, such a sweet little sundress! And it has removeable shoulder straps in the same pattern if you don’t prefer the bandeaux style. It’s a linen blend material with a smocked back and zip closure. I love how it has pockets.

And this empire waist maxi dress is so gorgeous in this turquoise jewel tone. It has a square neck with adjustable shoulder straps, pockets, and low open back. It would be perfect for vacay!

Such a fun color combo with the pink and turquoise. I adore the halter sweater tank from Madewell, but it runs small, so size up.
The shorts are darling too! They’re a linen/cotton blend that pull on over your hips with a flat front and pockets. Another style that’s easy to dress up for events where you want to be both cool and polished.

The pastel colored pant suits are so hot right now, but you have to get the fit right to make them look outstanding. These pants have a lot going for them with comfortable feel, fitted waist and wide leg, but I would need them in petite to do them justice for you.
I paired them with an older crop top from Abercrombie so you could see what the waist looks like.

To give you another option for styling with a patterned top, I chose this floral beauty from the English Factory. It’s so cute with the smocked detail and puffed sleeves. It runs small though, so size up.

I also tried these suit separates from Open Edit. The blazer is supposed to be an oversize fit, but you should still size down. With the correct fitting pants, it would be a fresh look for Spring and Summer!

Yay!!! A pair of pants that fit! This pair of pull on pants are so comfy, this is my second pair – I also have the aqua and the ivory are on sale. These are easy to wear casually or with a dressier top and you’ll still be so comfortable!

The top is actually a bodysuit with a criss cross top and small snap to keep it closed. You can wear the attached ties at the neck, chest or undone for a more relaxed look.

The bodysuit also looks great with jeans and these jeans are KILLER! They’re by Good American with a pretty medium/dark blue wash. The description says straight leg, but to me they almost look like a little kick crop with how the thighs are more fitted.
They’re extremely comfortable on with a good stretch and contoured waist to prevent that annoying gaping in the back.

I’ve been a fan of NYDJ jeans for many years now. They fit a woman’s body really well and are designed to lift and tuck in all the right places. This bold color is pink, but in the online photo it’s lighter than in person.
As far as style goes, I still prefer the NYDJ Sherri frayed hem slim jeans. Those come in a variety of colors and you can’t go wrong with the white!

Ooh, these white straight leg jeans from Good American are awesome! The straight leg is a lovely departure from a white skinny jean and something that is flattering on everyone. The raw edge hem gives these jeans a more relaxed vibe. And they have a comfortable high waist.

I’m so surprised that I found a mid-rise jean that I like! I’ve gotten so accustomed to high waist jeans and usually can’t wear mid rise. These feel great on and maybe it’s because they have specially designed front pockets to keep you feeling all secure. The kick crop is slight, but enough to give off a playful vibe. And something about the white button just gets me (see below).
And how about this statement sleeved, scalloped edge blouse?! I adored it online and I adore it in person!

Ahh, such a fun tank, but it runs small, so size up. The body is a soft knit and the double ruffled sleeves are a crisp cotton. It would pair perfectly with a printed maxi skirt.

Last but not least, I tried the Open Edit sandals for the first time and really liked them. This pair has a simple knot design, comes in three colors, and fits TTS.
