Hi friend! Yay for Friday! It’s been a longest, short week here. The kids went back to school on Wednesday, they both had basketball practices that same day, my Mom found an apartment!, and I got to catch up with two of my long-time girlfriends last night for dinner. That girlfriend time is so good for the soul!
Today is the first Amazon haul of the new year! I’m excited for it too because it’s a good one with my new favorite pair of leggings (you MUST try! seriously the closest to Lululemon yet!), some stylish sneakers, and lots of casual and activewear- time for me to lose those extra holiday lbs! Anyone else?!
We had fun on the blog this week where I recapped December, shared our Christmas and awful rat saga. If you were wondering, unfortunately the saga continues.

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses. Lots of times the smallest size on Amazon is a Small, so in that case, that’s what I ordered.

Starting with a pop of color, and PINK! because Valentine’s Day is on the horizon! ♥ This sweater is perfection with its v-neck and easy to fold or tuck hem.

Another favorite for February is this heart stitch sweater in a pale pink. I like how the heart detail is subtle, but still makes a statement.

And because I can never have enough neutrals in my closet, I was drawn to this creamy/beige sweater. It has a crew neck and exaggerated ribbed hem that gives it a little something extra. For my preppy friends, I popped collar peeking out would add a fun bit of interest.

And how about this green?! It’s a very pretty true green in person, definitely making me look forward to Spring!
You can see the jeans I’ve been wearing better in this picture. They’re by Amazon’s house brand, Amazon Essentials and are really good. They have a comfortable high waist and bit of stretch, even with the skinny shape. There’s a hint of distressing on one leg, but it’s not over the top. I also like this pretty light blue wash.

I’m all about cardigans and tank tops right now. Our weather has been tricky, chilly one day/sunny and warm the next. This cardigan is a great basic, hitting me right at mid-thigh. It comes with the coordinating tie belt, so you can wear it belted or open. It also has a blousy sleeve above the elbow, then fitted to the wrist.
*ok, this is funny. . . I just went to link this “cardigan” and realized it’s supposed to be a sweater dress! And now I can actually see that! Do you like it as a cardigan or dress?!

These Steve Madden sneakers are so cute, I got them in both white and black. They’re definitely sporty with the perforated sides and lined with a very comfortable terry cloth lining inside.

This sweater can be worn dressy with pants or more causally with jeans. It feels great on with lots of soft stretch. The shoulders are puffed and I like how the stitching in the front gives the v- effect.

This bobble sweater reminded me of Ali-Shaun since she loves a good bobble! I opted for the neutral color, but I’m sure she’d prefer one of the other colors available.

I got this woven bag awhile ago and still really like it. It’s very well made and good quality, but inexpensive. I’ve seen similar styles for much more.

For a hot date, or V-day, you could go with this one-shoulder top. It’s a sassy style showing off one shoulder and being fitted across the chest. It would also look good tucked into a skirt.

Super soft and cozy in this striped neutral sweater. This one looks great with your black jeans. I’ve reached for these jeans time and time again. They have a high waist and just feel so good on! They’re by Daily Ritual – an Amazon house brand I’ve had very good luck with. Their pieces are good quality and have lasted me years.

I’m soooo glad I finally pair a faux leather leggings that I can actually get into without straining my body or nearly ripping the leggings! This pair goes on much easier than other brands I’ve tried and looks so good! They also feel like they are well made and will last. They have a comfortable high waist, which I really appreciate.
The sweater is an oversized style that looks kinda collegiate with the way the stripes are, dontcha think?!

This tunic style sweatshirt is UBER comfortable. It has a super soft lining inside and it’s a bit hard to tell, but the sleeve is slightly puffed. Super cute and nice and long (at least on me!)

We hit the puffer jacket jackpot with this one! It’s so cute with the satin + wubby fleece style. I also adore this pale pink color and how functionally warm it is! It zips down the front and has double front pockets.
The booties are such a good steal! They have that faux fur lining and I like the shorter height.

GET THESE LEGGINGS! We’re giving Rhonda the credit for spotting them and telling me to order them. They are literarily the closest leggings to Lululemon I’ve found. They feel nearly identical and I’m not exaggerating! They are seamless on the outer leg with a very slimming high waist. If you like leggings for exercise and lounge and outfits, try these and thank me later!
I’m wearing them with a crop tank here so you can see the shape and style. The tanks are on the lightweight/thin side, perfect for layering, but steer clear if you don’t want belly baring – they’re crop length. Over 40,000 positive reviews.
