Best Sales, Goodies, & More

Hi friend!  I hope your week is going amazing!  We have less than two weeks now until school starts, I can’t believe it’s almost that time again.

KITTY UPDATE

And if you read Monday’s post, you saw we had a friendly neighborhood kitty hanging around.  I took him to the vet on Monday and discovered that he is indeed, a she.  More importantly though, she’s already fixed, healthy, and microchipped.

The sad news is that the owner didn’t register the microchip and when I contacted the microchip company, they had no record of who the owner is.  I had the vet give the cat a preventative flea medicine and we came back home.  I let her inside, but she still prefers to be outside.  She’s friendly with several neighbors on the street, so maybe she’s content there.

Since then, I’ve contacted lost pet sites and put a notice on Next Door about this found kitty, hoping the owner will claim her.  Fingers crossed!

Tuesday Goodies

Cozy Throw • Cosmetic Organizer • Wool Dryer Balls • Purple Shampoo & Conditioner • Slides

Amazon Leopard Blanket

Cozy Throw

Almost identical to the popular Barefoot Dreams, but it’s under $50!  Such a good deal and so cozy soft!  Makes a great gift too!

Compact storage used for bracelets

Cosmetic Organizer

These pretty acrylic cosmetics organizers aren’t just for cosmetics!

Joico Products

Purple Shampoo & Conditioner

This purple shampoo has worked amazing to eliminate the warm/brassy tones on my hair.  I used a few times in a row until I got the desired cool, champagne color and now I just use occasionally to maintain.  Leave on for longer if you have more brass to get rid of, but not too long because this purple shampoo works really well.  It also smells great!

Slides

Slides

These cloud slides have quickly become my Summer house shoes!  I designate a pair of shoes for indoors only so I’m not spreading outside dirt and germs around.  These are so cushiony and lightweight.  Size down a full size because they run big.

Wool Laundry Balls

Wool Dryer Balls

These all natural wool balls replace your traditional dryer sheet and help reduce dry time.  You can sprinkle essential oil on them if you like a particular scent.

One Comment

  1. Hi! I’ve never commented before but wanted to jump in the kitty update to say — nearly the same thing happened to my family over the last year! In late 2021 we noticed a very friendly cat who was spending more and more time in our backyard. She loved our 6 year old in particular. One rainy morning in the winter she (and us) worked up the courage to come inside. Shortly after, we borrowed a cat carrier and took her to the vet — she too is chipped, but no response ever from the phone number or email address associated with her. She is in good health, spayed, etc! Since then we’ve semi-adopted her as ours, though she spends most of her time outside still and is still fairly skittish. We do feed her, though she’ll sometimes go a few days without eating our food, and we assume she is eating elsewhere too (or hunting). Anyway, all this to say — we’ve been there and we have sort of found a balance between having a cat who feels “ours” but also understanding that her comings and goings aren’t always predictable and we sometimes go a day without seeing her. Good luck!
