Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Hi friend!  Welcome to a fresh, new week!  I’m feeling particularly good since I went ahead and ran my half marathon on Friday!  I literally cannot believe I ran that distance!  If you read my half marathon goal blog post, you know that the longest I’d ever run in the past was 3 miles- and that was a long time ago!

It really goes to show what we can do when we put our minds toward something.  We can all do hard things!  I’m still processing what it means to me and plan to do a full recap with all of my training and what’s next soon.

Thank you SO much for all your kind and supportive comments along the way!

FATHER’S DAY GIFT IDEAS

With Father’s Day approaching soon – June 19th to be exact, I’ve got some tired and true gift ideas if you’re stumped.  Many of these things I’ve gifted Brian and they’re man approved!

1 Customized Tray – I like that you can personalize this catchall tray with the color of the leather and the message inside.

2 Waterproof Speaker – He can listen to tunes at the pool, beach or in the shower with this portable bluetooth speaker.  It’s small in size (just 3 inches) with big sound and conveniently suctions to the wall.

3 Tool Kit – If your guy is handy or likes pittering around in the garage, this is the tool kit that Brian recommended I get for my brothers last year for their birthdays.  It was a hit with them, so I guess the guys like it!

4 Personalized Family Print – For the sentimental types, this personalized family art could be a cherished momento.  You can even include the family pet and special sentiment.

5 Soft Sneakers – I’m including a few things I’ve gifted Brian over the years that have been hits.  These dressy sneakers are perfect for outfits when he wants to dress up, but not wear dress shoes- and regular sneakers won’t do.  He says they’re very comfortable too.

6 Make your Own Hot Sauce – This is a gift for the foodie or guy who prefers experiences over things.  This kit includes all the ingredients for six different hot sauces with instructions, and labels for whatever creative name he comes up with.  Could be something fun to do with little chefs too.  It’s just over $40 and has great reviews.

7 Stainless Steel Map of Favorite City – Such a cool and unique gift.  You could pick the city where you met, honeymooned, he was born or anywhere that has special meaning for your guy.

8 Dopp Kit – I got Brian this travel toiletries bag for Christmas and he uses it all the time.  I actually saw him eyeing it in the airport one time when we were traveling, so I knew it would be a hit.  It’s durable and good looking.

9 Yeti Cooler – I didn’t gift this to Brian, but he has it and uses it all the time.  I will say it’s very handy!  We’ve used it at the beach, park and for travel.  And guys are always remarking on it when they see it!

10 On Cloud Sneakers – I got these for both me and Brian last year during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  They’ve been a go-to for weekends and long walks.  I wish he could run with me, but his running days are over due previous back surgeries.  We do walk together though!

11 Swim Trunks – If his swim trunks could use an upgrade, this classic style by LL Bean will do the trick. They’re under $40 and also come in yellow/grey/navy.

12 Vuori Joggers – I’m literally wearing my soft-as-butter joggers right now and Brian loves his too!  They are the perfect lounge pants for those Netflix marathons.

13 I also gifted Brian this Duffle Bag and it’s been a durable and styling traveling companion!

What has your guy asked for for Father’s Day?  I’d love to hear more ideas in the comments!

Now let’s go kick Monday’s booty!
