March Favorites, Top Sellers & Loves Winner
This has been a month for the books! I bought a house, moved, and sold my old house yesterday! And, in the midst of all of that, Brian and I took a quick trip to Cozumel! Needless to say, it’s been a lot and I’m definitely looking forward to the weekend!
We have my son’s first track and field meet, plus my daughter’s t-ball game, then I’ll be doing my research for shades in my office. I love the three large windows in that room and all the natural light, but right now the paper shades are driving my crazy! I have to climb a ladder to clip and unclip them each day.

MY MARCH FAVORITES
- I’ve been on a chocolate chip banana bread kick and made it three times this month! That’s because it’s so delicious and goes fast!
- I’m getting my haircut later today and wanting to chop it shorter and also considering bringing up my bangs. Here are the images that I’ll be showing Shelby.
- This dry shampoo not only smells deliciously sexy, it soaks up oil and provides loads of volume.
- This darling account on Instagram makes me wish I were craftier! Amanda makes so many pretty, seasonal things.
- I binge watched Inventing Anna in about three days and found it very intriguing. Plus, I love Julia Garner.
- I’m currently reading The Artist’s Way and it’s a great way to help you dive into your creative passions. But, I haven’t been doing the homework, which makes me think I need to start over.
- We have hardwood floors throughout our new home and I always wear slippers inside. I like this pair for the cozy sturdiness and this pair for the memory foam comfort and bare toes. You should see the ‘slippers’ James wears! He loves them!
- My ride or die skincare faves are all on sale, 25% off!

1 • GET THIS PULLOVER! I like to call out pieces that I think you’ll really want and wear often and this hoodie sweatshirt is one of them. The quality is exceptional and it’s one of those things you can get a lot of wear out of. In Houston, it’s perfect for Fall, Winter and into Spring until it gets hot.
It has a functional drawstring hoodie and front kangaroo pocket. Even the length is spot on for wearing with jeans or leggings.
2 • I have had this smocked waist coverup for a while and its done so well with the many washes and is one of my favorites for pool time.
3 • I’m keeping this tunic coverup because while I was on vacation, I wished I had one that was in a loose fitting tunic style. I like the lightweight, gauzy feel on this one and how it has that crochet detail.
You can wear it open, or button it up like a dress to wear to lunch at the cabana after the pool.

1 •I have these bamboo scrubbers next to my sink. I love that they are both pretty and functional!

Congrats on your new home….wishing you health, happiness, and love in your new space. Regarding the shades for your office…we moved into an apartment with HUGE windows and love the view, but not all the time. We got Hunter Douglas shades with the remote control that moves them. LOVE them! We opted for the battery packs that you just plug in and recharge. When up, they disappear. When down they are wonderful for shade and privacy!
