Your February Favorites & the joggers I can’t live without

Hi friend!  Welcome to a brand new week! We had a cold, slow weekend complete with a couple of naps- my favorite!

Can you believe its March tomorrow?!  I feel like it totally snuck up on me!  In just a few short weeks, it’ll be Spring Break and Brian and I will be heading to Cozumel for a few days! I’m definitely looking forward to relaxing in the warm sunshine!

Your February Favorites

I love seeing what y’all are into each month and here’s this month’s round up of fashion, beauty and home decor.

Performance Joggers | GET THESE JOGGERS!  These are the joggers I can’t live without and I’ve been wearing them daily since I got them.  They’re perfect for running errands, looking cute at your kids’ sporting events, and of course just lounging or sleeping!

They’re soft, silky feeling joggers with stretch, pockets and an elastic waist.  Even the drawstring is cute with it’s diagonal stripe detail!

Slim Straight Leg Jeans | I was excited to try a new style of white jeans and these are so good!  They’re designer denim AG brand that I’ve had good luck with in the past with white- theirs are always very opaque, which I really like.

This style is a high waist slim straight leg, so slightly wider from the knee down than your traditional skinny jean.  On the model, they were hitting a few inches above the ankle, but on me (5’1), they sit right at the ankle.

I also really liked that they have the structure of a true jean (with a bit of stretch), but they aren’t a jegging, which tends to be pretty unflattering in white.

Overall, these jeans get 5 stars!

Classic Woven Shirt | Nothing beats a classic white button up shirt. This one is a cotton linen blend that hangs nicely and is easy to front tuck.

Woven Sandal | My go to Spring / Summer Sandal. I love the neutral shade, but they come in other colors as well.

Tie Waist Dress | This was the dress I wore on our Valentine’s date and it works beyond the holiday!

Sleeveless Pleated Dress | Such a stunning midi dress with the swingy pleated skirt. Would be perfect for Easter Sunday or a nice brunch.

Chloe Bag | Here’s the big one in this month’s giveaway, the Chloe Medium Woody Logo bag.  I’m not usually one about designer labels, but this bag had me from the first time I saw it.  It’s definitely a treat and I’m so excited to give one to one of you! Do you like it as much as I do?  I love the size, shape and that you can wear it on your shoulder or carry it by the handle.  There are several colorways and it’s hard to choose which one! What’s your fave?

Running Shoes | Not only are these sneakers great for running around town, they are springy and supportive for your workouts too!

Mens Dress Sneakers | I guess your men needed a pair of dressy sneakers too, I got these for Brian as a gift and he says they’re really comfortable.

Ugg Booties | The best Ugg Booties with a low heel design and they definitely keep your feet toasty!

Faux Diamond Studs | These petite studs are demure enough to wear to the gym, but also daily at home or work.

Gray Pullover | GET THIS PULLOVER!  I like to call out pieces that I think you’ll really want and wear often and this pullover is one of them.  The quality is exceptional and it’s one of those things you can get a lot of wear out of.  In Houston, it’s perfect for Fall, Winter and into Spring until it gets hot.

It has a functional drawstring hoodie and front kangaroo pocket. Even the length is spot on for wearing with jeans or leggings.

Football Tee | My team didn’t win, but the tee was still great!

Bracelets | I have these bracelets in two colorways- they slip easily over your wrist and are a steal.  A cool way to dress up your pool or beach outfit.

Butterfly Necklace | One of my most favorite recent jewelry finds. So delicate and cute for Spring.

Knit Beach Cover Up | This one keeps making the best sellers list and I know why! It’s easy to wear and a great cover up for your swimsuits.

Pink Maxi | This maxi dress is vacay ready for sure!  The pink on pink tone is playful and something about those florals reminds me of Hawaii.  The top has a smocked bodice and adjustable shoulder straps.  I like that it has a high/low hem and doesn’t need any alterations.

One Shoulder Maxi | If you’re a fan of asymmetric/one shoulder dresses or the color turquoise, you’ll like this dress!  It’s very comfortable on the body with a wider shoulder strap and smocked bodice, the skirt falls effortlessly to just above my ankle.  There are several gorgeous hues to choose from.

Sweater | I’m calling this the confetti dot sweater.  It’s a creamy white with colorful threads throughout.

Puff Sleeve Top  | This stretchy, ribbed knit top has a slim fitting silhouette with blousy arms, perfect for a girls night out.  I liked the square neckline and how opaque the white was.  This top could easily tuck into a skirt.

Lip Kit | This lip color feels almost like a lip oil and has a deep shine.  The color is GORGEOUS and it comes with the lip pencil too!

No Bend Hair Clips | These handy little clips keep your hair out of your face while applying makeup, but also tame your hair without any leaving and crease or bend in your hair!  You can also use them to train your bangs by clipping them to where you want your hair to lay.  I love them for taming my cowlicks especially.  After I’ve done my hair, I place on each of my cowlicks to help make them lay flat.  Best $6 I’ve ever spent!

Vitamin C Serum | I use a Vitamin C Serum every.single.morning and my skin looks brighter and more youthful.  I use this one, but the TruSkin Vitamin C with Vitamin E and hyaluronic acid has over 95,000 positive reviews.  It boosts brightness, fades dark spots, softens fine lines and wrinkles and all skin types can benefit from it.

Silk Scrunchies | Comparable to the silk scrunchies at Anthropologie, these keep my hair up while I’m working out, or just around the house.  They don’t pull or break my hair and they’re the perfect size.  I also love the colors!

Self Tanner | Y’all have heard me raving about this self tanner since the day I got it.  I’m just so impressed with the color and how easily it goes on.  The mouse makes it so easy to apply and there’s no messy spray.  You can also rinse off after 1-3 hours, depending on how dark you want your color to develop.  It smells nice too! Use this mitt to apply it so you don’t stain your palms!

Cuticle Oil | I use this cuticle oil religiously and it helps prevent hangnails and keeps my cuticles moisturized.  It absorbs fast and doesn’t leave my hands all oily.   98,932 | 4.5 star reviews

Makeup Brushes | Brushes make all the difference when applying makeup.  This pretty rose gold makeup brush set includes 5 big kabuki brushes and 9 precise eye brushes.  92,000 | 4.5 star reviews

Blush | I was drawn to the heart shapes at first, but this blush looks beautiful on your skin. And you can’t beat the price.

Lip Treatment | I’ve been using this lip treatment for YEARS and still love it, even though I’ve tried others.  It goes on really easily with the squeeze tube and slanted lip base.  It has a slight hint of mild scent, and my lips feel so good when I put it on.  I pretty much apply it right away after brushing my teeth.  9,284 | 4.5 star reviews

Mascara Primer | Do you use primer under your mascara? I never miss and this primer is so good for taking your lashes from lackluster to luscious!

Olive Branches | These branches are so lifelike you wouldn’t know they are faux! I bought two sets to fill my larger vase and like them year round!

Fabric Shaver | This little device has been a lifesaver shaving off all those pills on sweaters, but I also use it on my couch and throw pillows!

Tissue Box Cover | Another Goodies find. This box is sleek and minimal and looks great in several colors.

Wooden Circle Tray | This tray is handmade so every one is unique. I loved the natural look of this one and it’s also really large.

Tulip Wreath | I got this exact wreath last year and loved it so much I bought the same wreath in yellow. It’s very well made and looks expensive.  I’ve displayed these both inside and outdoors.

Pantry Storage | In our pantry, these Woven Baskets have worked so well to corral all the snacks and keep them at easy access for the kids to grab and add to their school lunch boxes.   They hold a surprising amount and I like how the woven texture looks in our pantry. *If you need kids lunch ideas, I have several for you here.

Cork Liner | We use this Cork Liner in nearly every shelf in our house to protect the paint from unsightly scratches, stains and marks.  The cork texture provides a smooth, durable surface for things and is also easy to wipe/vacuum clean.  It has an adhesive backing that you simply peel and stick to your surface.

Wooden Links | I have a set of these wooden links in the natural wood color and loved them so much I got the black set. They are great for giving your space a bit of pop!

Cleaning Paste | This stuff works wonders for cleaning. I use mine at the kitchen sink, stove and faucets to get those tough stains out and keep the steel shiny.

Match Cloche | I’m crazy for the functional decor and how this easily accents a side table or shelf.

  1. Do you purchase a new tulip wreath each year, or would it last for several? What about fading in partial sun? Thanks
