Dressing Room – New White Jeans, Spring Dresses & Joggers to Live in
Yay for Friday! I get to see my girlfriends today AND get a massage! We’re celebrating Marianna’s birthday with a spa party, complete with facials and massages and everyone is bringing a different themed charcuterie board. I chose to do a dessert theme and can’t wait to put it together! I’ll be sure to share on Stories how it turns out.
And it’s Super Bowl weekend! We’ll be watching the game at home with Brian and the girls and rooting for the Bengals all the way!
We had a fun week on the blog, sharing Game Day Snacks, Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him & Kids, Just (the BEST) Sales, and my personal favorite- our Mudroom Makeover! I’m so happy with how it turned out and it looks 100% better than seeing all the clutter!

Today, I have a fun dressing room post for you and it’s full of styles to get excited about for Spring! I shopped Loft (on sale!), Social Threads, a couple of Target items and found a new pair of white jeans from Nordstrom, dresses for work to weekend, and the joggers you will want to LIVE in!
Not to mention, my Chloe bag arrived and I can’t wait to see who wins it this month! ♥
Size Reference: I’m short (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110 lbs and athletic build. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XSP/XS in tops and dresses.

WHITE JEANS OUTFITS

Always love a neutral outfit! I was excited to try a new style of white jeans and these are so good! They’re designer denim AG brand that I’ve had good luck with in the past with white- theirs are always very opaque, which I really like.
This style is a high waist slim straight leg, so slightly wider from the knee down than your traditional skinny jean. On the model, they were hitting a few inches above the ankle, but on me (5’1), they sit right at the ankle.
I also really liked that they have the structure of a true jean (with a bit of stretch), but they aren’t a jegging, which tends to be pretty unflattering in white.
Overall, these jeans get 5 stars!

The top is a super soft hoodie with casual drawstrings and a drop shoulder. It almost feels like cashmere. I chose the tan, but I’m loving the poppy ‘orchid’ and ‘rose’ colors.

Here’s a better look at my splurgy Chloe tote that I gifted to myself as an early birthday gift! Aside from Tory Burch bags, I’ve never owned such a luxury item! I’ve been eyeing this one and drooling over it and I’m so happy with how it looks and in person!
The medium size is perfect for me as an everyday bag, not too big, not too small. I love how you can wear it on your shoulder or carry it by the handles. I chose the striped linen colorway, but I’m also smitten with the other colors/styles.
I knew when I ordered it that I wanted to share the love and gift one of one of you too!

This tunic top is so pretty for Spring. I’m wearing the color ‘dusty peach’ but it looks more soft pink in person. It has a relaxed dolman sleeve and looks great with the white jeans, but of course, will also go with blue/black/grey denim.

I’m loving this fun paisley print top with the playful orange and blue tassels. The sleeves are flirty with the ruffles and I can see wearing it from Spring to Summer and pairing it with jean shorts when it’s hot out.

See how well the top goes with blue jeans too?! These jeans are from Loft and on super sale, but sizes are going fast! They have just a bit of distressing and a raw edge hem.

I liked this top online, but it’s even better in person. I expected it to be a t-shirt knit material, but it’s actually a soft, thin almost sweater-like material. It’s a sporty look with the wide rugby stripes, but the puffed sleeves add a feminine touch! The open collar is done with the traditional cotton fabric. It’s a winner and comes in more colors.

I’m digging this ‘grateful’ graphic tee. It’s a grey heart on a creamy colored tee, perfectly relaxed style and the sentiment is on point.

The beach is calling our name with this ‘beach’ sweater. The Small was large enough on me that I could pull it to one shoulder, but I could also see throwing it on over a swimsuit on vacay! Speaking of, do you have any plans for Spring Break? We’re looking at going to Mexico! #fingerscrossed

The woven tote is from Amazon and it’s lined inside, with comfortable shoulder straps. I got the darker ‘khaki’ color, but it also comes in a lighter ‘beige’.

Isn’t the color on this sweatshirt so happy?! It’s a soft banana yellow and the inside is also a soft and cozy fleece. I like the round hem and the exposed hem detail that gives it a cool, relaxed vibe.

I forgot how sassy you can feel in a cold shoulder sweater. This one is cute! It has a faded coloring that makes me feel like it’s also calling for the ocean.

CHINOS OUTFITS

If you’re looking for something different to wear to work, or want a change from jeans on the weekends, chinos are a great alternative. I was happy with how this pair looked and felt on. They have a comfortable high waist with a sleek, flat front (only small coin pockets near the belt loops) and skinny ankle.
The dusty blue will go with anything you’d wear regular blue jeans with, but they also come in a red, grey or black.

The top is on the lightweight side with texture that amps it up a notch. The sleeves have stretchy elastic that you can scrunch up and they’ll stay put.

This top will definitely go with jeans or shorts, but I thought it looked fun with the chinos too. I appreciate that the arm holes weren’t too big on this one, sometimes they are enormous and you feel like you need a cami underneath.

This pair of pants are incredibly comfortable! They have a heavier weight than the chinos above, but are more relaxed fitting with the nearly paperbag waist and wider leg. They have a high waist and come with the coordinating tie belt. I bet you’ll want to wear these often!
They look great with a tucked in top and wedges. I’m wearing the ‘natural teak’- a warm tan, but the ‘mountain rosemary’ is more olive and would also go well with lots of tops.

BLACK PANTS OUTFITS

I also wanted to try a more traditional work pant for you and ordered two, but the first pair ran small, so they were really tight on my legs and I could barely zip my normal size.
These are the Riviera Slim Pants and they are perfectly professional and with a structured, slim fit and ankle length. They feel good on with plenty of stretch and you can also machine wash them. The ankle length feels fresh for Spring and looks great with either a heel or flat shoe.
They also come in several colors, so if you like these, you may want to stock up.
Pants Fit: I’m wearing 0P – they are mid-rise, so you may have to get used to that if you’re like me and always wear high rise

Loft makes great shell tops. This one is mixed materials with a silky front, and soft t-shirt knit back. I adore the fit, dainty ruffle at the collar and functional, petite gold buttons.

I found this floral blouse at Target and I’m seeing a lot of this petite floral pattern for Spring. This top has a smocked chest, and elbow length sleeves. It’s a work to weekend style and even looks good untucked.

I also paired the jeans with this puffed sleeve blouse from this Nordstrom dressing room post. I think the volume of the top makes it perfect for skinny jeans or something slim on the bottom. The white is pretty opaque, yet, I kinda want the black one now too! I can see wearing it with dressy shorts and wedges in the summer.

Isn’t this clutch fun?! It’s beaded for a night out and I really like the camo colorway with pop of red!

I pulled out my Madewell high waist black jeans and when I put them on, was reminded how much I enjoy wearing them. They fit like a glove, not too tight or loose, just perfectly comfortable and flattering. I guess it’s that soft stretch material they’re made of that makes them feel so good on.
They make a great night out jean, but also perfect for casual weekends.

DRESSES
Moving onto dresses, I found several for work, play and even vacay! This easy breezy dress has a swingy silhouette, but is conservative enough for the office. It’s fully lined with a ruffled collar and open neck and a cool, aztec vibe with pretty pink, red, plum and chocolate brown colors.
It would look great with knee high boots.

This LBD has a clip dot texture and super flattering fit with the smocked waist and easy skirt. It’s a great night out outfit with the sheer sleeves and open neckline that you could dress up with a statement necklace.

I’m so ready to throw this maxi dress in my bag and head to somewhere beachy! It’s a breezy, almost gauzy material that flows perfectly as you walk. The colors and print mixtures are so lively and fun! With a heel, it was hitting right at the floor, but I like how you can also belt it.

Another midi dress style, but more appropriate for work, church or a shower, this petite floral number is lovely. I like the blue background and how it buttons up the front. I think this would also be a comfortable dress for a teacher.

I’m loving this mini skirt and the pretty pastel colors! It even has a bit of shimmer to it, which makes me think it would be perfect for dancing after cocktails.

GET THESE JOGGERS! Have you heard me raving about these joggers yet?! I’m actually wearing them right now as I type this! But, it’s no surprise because I’ve been wearing them daily since I got them. They’re perfect for running errands, looking cute at your kids’ sporting events, and of course just lounging or sleeping!
They’re soft, silky feeling joggers with stretch, pockets and an elastic waist. Even the drawstring is cute with it’s diagonal stripe detail!

I like them so much that I’m giving the men’s joggers to Brian for Valentine’s Day. ♥ When we have date night at home, we usually cook and then cuddle on the couch watching TV. He’s been wearing these pants from Amazon for lounging (he’s 6 foot, 165 lbs and wears size Medium in them), but he’s gonna LOVE wearing these soft joggers! I can’t wait to give them to him!
