Pretty Bathroom Organization

Hi friend! Welcome to a fresh new week!  We had a fun weekend with Jordan’s first basketball game and it was a hoot!  She’s in kindergarten and these little kids are so fun to watch on the court.  She was thrilled to score twice and I caught one of them on video!

PRETTY BATHROOM ORGANIZATION

If you’re working on getting your house cleaned up and organized this month, I have some inspiration for you!  You can check out my Organization Tab for all of my previous organization posts and today, we’re tackling the bathroom.

I updated my bathroom organization this week and now it looks all neat and tidy!

Bathroom Rug, Wooden Stool, Hand Towel, Mirror, Cherry Blossom, Marble Tray

Marble Tray, Soap Dispensers, Cherry Blossoms, Candle, Colleen Rothschild Products

I like to keep the bathroom counter minimal, but I do like some styling elements like a big vase with faux flowers.  It’s also handy to keep some things within arms reach.

Decanting soaps and lotions goes a long way to pretty up your space. This face wash is CereVe that I sometimes use if my muslin cloths are dirty or when Brian is here.

Collen Rothschild Products, Face Roller, Infuser, Speakers, Brazilian Crush

I put out things I use daily and that look nice if kept out on the counter.  Having all of the items in a similar color scheme helps unify them and keeps it from looking too jumbled.  Using a tray to corral everything instantly makes it look better too!

I keep my Colleen Cleansing Balm and Extreme Recover Cream out because I use that daily, along with the jade roller and qtips.  It’s also nice to listen to music while I’m getting ready, and that little speaker connects wirelessly to my phone and puts out a great sound.

Let’s peek into the drawers.

This top drawer contains daily necessities things like my toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant and contact lenses.

I used the Home Edit Drawer Organizers and love how deep and sturdy they are, plus you can move them around to fit your specific items. Each set comes with ten mix and match modular BPA free plastic bins that are also stackable!

Plastic Drawer Storage

Since we don’t have a medicine cabinet, I use these plastic drawer organizers to hold our medicine.  Many years ago (2013!) I put washi tape on the drain and it’s been there ever since!

Hand Towel, Bath Mat, Amber Jars, Wooden Riser

There’s a second sink and cabinet on the opposite side of the bathroom.  The top drawer has a few of Brian’s things, but the other drawers are empty.  Under the sink is just a toilet cleaning brush and plunger.

EXTRA CREDIT – NIGHTSTAND ORGANIZATION

I went ahead and cleaned up my nightstand drawer too.  Inside are just the necessities – a couple of pens/highlighters, hand lotion, lip treatment and my ipad and current book I’m reading.  I also usually have a notepad.

THE HOME EDIT COLLECTION AT WALMART

Some of the drawer dividers I used in our bathrooms are from the new Home Edit collection, exclusively at Walmart.  They are the organizing gurus known for rainbow colorways and their show on Netflix makes me want to organize every nook and cranny in my house!  I like how the drawer dividers come in a 10-piece set so you can mix and match and puzzle piece them to fit your specific organization needs.

Of course, I have both of their books- The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals and The Home Edit Life: The No Guilt Guide to Owning What You Want and Organizing Everything.

Are you working on any organization projects in your house?  My mudroom makeover is underway and I’m so excited for it!  My contractor started on it on Thursday and has been at it all weekend.  I can’t wait to show you when it’s all finished!

It’s also Martin Luther King, Jr. day and I found this passage helpful for how I can honor the meaning of the day.  My kids are home from school today and I always think the most effective form of change begins at home, so that’s what we’ll do here.

Now let’s go kick Monday’s booty!

  1. Beautiful, as always! Can you tell me which color your faux flowers are? It’s hard to tell some of them apart online. Thank you, and enjoy your day!
