Pretty Bathroom Organization
Hi friend! Welcome to a fresh new week! We had a fun weekend with Jordan’s first basketball game and it was a hoot! She’s in kindergarten and these little kids are so fun to watch on the court. She was thrilled to score twice and I caught one of them on video!
PRETTY BATHROOM ORGANIZATION
If you’re working on getting your house cleaned up and organized this month, I have some inspiration for you! You can check out my Organization Tab for all of my previous organization posts and today, we’re tackling the bathroom.
I updated my bathroom organization this week and now it looks all neat and tidy!
Large Rug • Hand Towels • Mirror • Similar Vase • Faux Flowers • Similar Wooden Stool • Small Rug
I like to keep the bathroom counter minimal, but I do like some styling elements like a big vase with faux flowers. It’s also handy to keep some things within arms reach.
Similar Vase • Faux Florals • Marble Tray • Bottles • Labels • Candle
Decanting soaps and lotions goes a long way to pretty up your space. This face wash is CereVe that I sometimes use if my muslin cloths are dirty or when Brian is here.
Similar Clear Tray • Bubble Bath & Bath Salts • Cleansing Balm • Extreme Recovery Cream • Qtip Jars • Speaker • Infuser • Brazilian Crush Spray
I put out things I use daily and that look nice if kept out on the counter. Having all of the items in a similar color scheme helps unify them and keeps it from looking too jumbled. Using a tray to corral everything instantly makes it look better too!
I keep my Colleen Cleansing Balm and Extreme Recover Cream out because I use that daily, along with the jade roller and qtips. It’s also nice to listen to music while I’m getting ready, and that little speaker connects wirelessly to my phone and puts out a great sound.
Towels • Sweater • Jeans • Bamboo Bowl • Maria Badescu • Kerastase Hair Serum • CereVe Face Lotion • Dove Bodywash • Sea Breeze Toner • Makeup Remover
Bamboo Bowl • Muslin Cloths • Brush
Kerastase Products • Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
Off to the right is the cabinet where I keep my dirty laundry (behind those lower doors), towels and extra hair and skincare products.
Let’s peek into the drawers.
Drawer Organizers • Warby Parker Eyeglasses • Toothbrush • Tongue Scraper • Toothpaste • Deodorant • Differin • Lip Scrub
This top drawer contains daily necessities things like my toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant and contact lenses.
I used the Home Edit Drawer Organizers and love how deep and sturdy they are, plus you can move them around to fit your specific items. Each set comes with ten mix and match modular BPA free plastic bins that are also stackable!
Drawer Organizers • Wet Brush • No Bend Hair Clips • Olalplex Hair Oil • Cuticle Oil • Eye Serum • Mandelic Acid • Face Oil No. 9 • Retinol Night Oil • CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid • Similar Comb • SuperGoop • Vitamin C Serum • Age Renewal Super Serum • Sheer Renewal Cream • Sunscreen
The top drawer on the adjacent side is for my skincare and hair accessories like scrunchies and hair clips.
Underneath by toothbrush drawer is my hair products like heat protectant, dry shampoo, texture spray, and hairspray.
Hair Dryer • 1 inch Curling Wand • 1 1/4 inch Curling Wand
My hair tools are in the last drawer and in the last drawer on the other side.
Hair Clippers • Flat Iron • GHD Curling Wand • Hairdryer Brush
I keep the hair clippers and sharp hair cutting scissors in that black zippered bag, along with my flat iron, curling wand and hairdryer brush in the bottom left drawer.
Self Tanner • Makeup Cleaning Pad • Makeup Cleaner • Tinkle Razors
Above that is my self tanner, nail tools and polishes, and makeup brush cleaner.
Since we don’t have a medicine cabinet, I use these plastic drawer organizers to hold our medicine. Many years ago (2013!) I put washi tape on the drain and it’s been there ever since!
Hand Towel • Wooden Riser • Amber Soap Jars • Bath Mat
There’s a second sink and cabinet on the opposite side of the bathroom. The top drawer has a few of Brian’s things, but the other drawers are empty. Under the sink is just a toilet cleaning brush and plunger.
Hand Towel • Wooden Riser • Amber Soap Jars • Labels
KIDS’ BATHROOM DRAWERS
Then I went into James’ bathroom and organized his drawer, and finally, Jordan’s.
Drawer Organizers • Got 2 B Hair Gel • Cortizone 10 Cream • Hair Brush • P&G Toothbrush • Crest Toothpaste • Right Guard • Glide Floss
Drawer Organizers • Similar Hair Clips • Hair Brush • Detangler • Toothpaste
EXTRA CREDIT – NIGHTSTAND ORGANIZATION
Drawer Organizers • Sarasa Pens • Hand Lotion • Hanalei Lip Treatment • Book
I went ahead and cleaned up my nightstand drawer too. Inside are just the necessities – a couple of pens/highlighters, hand lotion, lip treatment and my ipad and current book I’m reading. I also usually have a notepad.
THE HOME EDIT COLLECTION AT WALMART
Some of the drawer dividers I used in our bathrooms are from the new Home Edit collection, exclusively at Walmart. They are the organizing gurus known for rainbow colorways and their show on Netflix makes me want to organize every nook and cranny in my house! I like how the drawer dividers come in a 10-piece set so you can mix and match and puzzle piece them to fit your specific organization needs.
Of course, I have both of their books- The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals and The Home Edit Life: The No Guilt Guide to Owning What You Want and Organizing Everything.

Are you working on any organization projects in your house? My mudroom makeover is underway and I’m so excited for it! My contractor started on it on Thursday and has been at it all weekend. I can’t wait to show you when it’s all finished!
It’s also Martin Luther King, Jr. day and I found this passage helpful for how I can honor the meaning of the day. My kids are home from school today and I always think the most effective form of change begins at home, so that’s what we’ll do here.
Now let’s go kick Monday’s booty!
Loving it, i’m going to do something similar in my bedroom
