Winter Styles Under $50

Hi friend!  I’m so happy you’re here!  It’s a great day because: 1) it’s date night, and 2) we have a cold front that’s bringing our 80s temps into the 60s! Yay for that!

I’m so looking forwarding to wearing a sweater, jeans and boots to dinner tonight.  We’re going on a double date with one of my oldest friends, so that will be a great time.  I haven’t seen her since May!

Today, I have a few new outfits to share with you, and you’ll also get a sneak peek of the Christmas decor in my bedroom.  It’s not finished, but it’s already looking festive and I love how the tree looks at night when it’s all lit up (even if there’s no ornaments on her yet)!

Y’all know I’m all about the neutrals, so this tan v-neck sweater and black jeans are right up my alley.  I like the wider v-neck on the sweater and how it’s easy to front tuck.

The jeans are listed as jeggings, but they’re more like a high rise skinny jean because they have both front and back pockets and a traditional zipper and button closure.

Style Tip : You can definitely mix black and brown or black and tan.  I could’ve worn black boots, but the tan pair from Target look great too.  They’re a comfortable fit with a low heel and cute perforations.  Bonus, they’re only $29!

Walmart fashion - paid shacket

Top • Shacket • Jeans • Similar Boots

The shacket trend is hot right now and this is a great style in a tan/cream plaid combo with dark functional buttons. This shacket is on the heavier side and will definitely keep you warm.  It comes in three colors for under $40!

I paired it with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans that are great if you like your jeans rip free.  They have a comfortable high rise and stretch with your body.  They come in seven washes and are only $27.

Jeans Fit : If you’re in between sizes, go up one. I’m wearing size 0 and they were a little long on me.  I’m 5’1

Top • Jeans • Similar Boots

Underneath the shacket, I’m wearing this ribbed henley top.  It’s a little on the thin side, so the white was less opaque than I prefer.  It comes in more colors that would probably be less sheer.

Henley Fit : Runs small, I’d suggest sizing up.  I’m wearing XS

Walmart fashion -rust colored cardigan

Top • Cardigan • Jeans • Similar Boots

The top does look good layered under a cardigan like this one.  It’s a chunky knit with bloused sleeves, double front pockets and a tie belt.

Style Ti[p : To wear the cardigan open, you can tie the belt behind your back.

Or, you could obviously wear it tied.  Which way to do like better?

Top • Bootcut Jeans • Heels

This blue smocked top is fun! It would be perfect for a night out.

I’m crazy for the bootcut jeans.  This style always elongates your legs, especially when you pair it with a pointy toe heel. They’re a mid rise, which I don’t usually prefer, but these actually felt comfortable on.

Jeans Fit : TTS, I’m wearing size 0S and they’re still a little bit long with a heel

Walmart fashion - striped top

Top • Bootcut Jeans

Here’s a comfy striped pullover with a little puffed sleeve.  It’s great for everyday, and even weekend errands when you still want to look put together.
