Fall Home Tour

Hi friend!  Thanks for stopping by and spending part of your day with me!  This week is already shaping up to be another busy one with 4 soccer games, a practice, a Gala event on Thursday, a trip to Dewberry Farms this weekend and a work event with Brian.

These next couple of months are always packed with fun things, but I always have to make sure I plan in rest time or I get exhausted.  Are you like that too?

FALL HOME TOUR

I’m excited to welcome you into our home today for a Fall home tour!  I pulled out our Fall decor bins last month and ordered a few more things and it’s feeling so cozy in here now.

We have a few more weeks to enjoy things as is before we start decorating for Christmas.  I saw these online and it’s already getting me excited for that time of year.  But, first things first!  C’mon in!

KITCHEN

Our kitchen gets lots of action, and I tend to like it clean and minimal, but adding in just a few new things made it feel more like Fall.

The warm toned runner rug in the kitchen sets the tone for Autumn.  It’s really soft underfoot and a good deal, at around $50.

One of the easiest ways to add a bit of decor and function is by grouping things together on a tray.  This wooden tray with gold handles can be used throughout the year and I like the style how it curves and dips down in the center.  The handles make it a great serving platter too.  And, it’s under $20!

I love scoring unique decor pieces on Amazon and both the little marble cake stand and potted olive tree are from there.  The cake stand is a mini, just 8 inches wide, and I think it looks so cute here in the kitchen holding my wooden brushes.  You definitely could use it to display muffins or cupcakes and cookies, but it’s fun to think outside the box.

I’ve been eyeing that marble mortar and pestle forever, and love how it looks against the wooden tray.  Of course, I have faux pumpkins scattered throughout the house- such an easy way to add a touch of Fall to your home.  The pinecones were simply brought in from outside.

Coffee Mugs3 Tier Tray

I’m definitely one of those gals that goes to bed dreaming of her morning coffee with vanilla caramel creamer!  These coffee mugs are sturdy stone wear and perfect for this time of year.  Aren’t the colors pretty?!

I put them on the 3-tier galvanized tray and added some decorative pumpkins and garlands for that festive touch.

BREAKFAST ROOM

CandleCake Stand • Salt and Pepper MillsPumpkin

On our breakfast table is a cake stand that I’m using as a pedestal (without the glass top) to add height here.  I like having the salt and pepper mills handy as well as a candle to light at night when we sit down to dinner as a family.  This candle is really pretty and smells good too.  My kids enjoy taking turns blowing out the candle at night.

FOYER

I keep the foyer pretty simple with just a table, vase and faux florals.  I try to use florals that are tall since this is such a large space.

LIVING ROOM

The living room is where we spend most of our time and we all have our favorite spots on the couch.  And I’m LOVING the weighted blanket I bought for down here!  It’s so relaxing!!

DINING ROOM

I had so much fun decorating the dining room for Fall this year.  I love how it turned out so much that it may just stay this way until Thanksgiving! And, everything on the table is from Walmart, so you know the prices were fantastic!

HALF BATH

I rarely show this half bathroom because there’s no natural light, so it’s hard to photograph.  I added a new piece of framed art and a vase with Fall florals to freshen it up for Fall.

I couldn’t find the link to the framed art, but it’s from Target and came with a second framed piece of art also.  The Studio McGee art collection at Target is really good and inexpensive, so it’s easy to change out when you want something new.

Below is a better look at the tin vase and florals I bought at Hobby Lobby this year.  I love how they feel and look with the different textures.

JORDAN’S PLAYROOM

This is one of the first room’s that I decorated for Fall this year.  I’m happy with how just a few pieces made it feel like Autumn, while still being relatively minimal.  My favorite part is the two banners layered together, tied with decorative ribbon at the ends.

 BEDROOM

Last but not least, I added some feminine touches of Fall to my bedroom.  There’s hints of pink and neutral tones that keep the room looking soft and soothing.
