Target Style | 15 Almost-Fall Outfits
Hi friends! I hope you are doing well and enjoying your week! We’ve been having rain, rain, rain and yesterday lost power for a several hours. It’s always so surreal because, out of habit, you keep switching on lights when you walk into a room, but it stays dark. :/
Brain gave me these battery powered light switches during our winter storm last year. They are so handy and super bright!
TARGET STYLE | 15 ALMOST-FALL OUTFITS
Lots of you have requested a Target and Old Navy outfit post, and I’m happy to oblige. I found several things I really liked, lots of keepers and they’re great for that in-between Summer and Fall time.
Today, I’m sharing my favorite Target finds, and tomorrow I’ll be back with outfits from Old Navy. If you’re looking for Amazon outfits, find those here!

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS in tops and dresses.
Your basic tee gets an upgrade with this super soft, scoop neck style. It’s flattering, lightweight, stretchy and feels so nice against your skin. And you won’t believe it, but it’s only $5! Â

I’m not giving up on skinny jeans, but I do appreciate the alternate styles, like these straight leg jeans. They have a high waist and crop length with distressing at the knees in a medium wash. I think they’re super cute and look great with any style top.

A military jacket is always a great option to have on hand when it starts to get chilly. I was impressed with the quality and style on this one with premium hardware and a sturdy zipper. It’s gathered in the back, which creates a feminine shape.
I chose the brown, but it also comes in a pretty mauve (dark pink) and you can’t go wrong with the olive green.

Oh yes! I love finding a good white tank top! I feel like I can never have enough! This one is a relaxed burnout style and looks great alone or layered under a cardigan.

A keeper of a cardigan! I really like the classic, open front style, drop shoulder with pockets and a tightly weaved sweater knit. The “grey” that I’m wearing is more slate grey with a hint of blue- looks great in person! Try it with your black jeans!

But isn’t this cardigan cute too?! It’s a keeper if you prefer a shorter cardigan and I tend to think these look great at work since they’re less “robe like”. The texture on this one is awesome and it buttons up the front.
It’s a perfect weekend outfit with jeans, but will dress up well with pants for the office.

You have another work or weekend option with this collared sweater. It has a playful, puffed sleeve and a scalloped collar. It was a toss up whether to get the cream or grey- both are winners!

They’re calling this a sweater vest, which makes sense because later on, I think it would look great with a long or 3/4 sleeve tee layered underneath. The arm holes are bigger for that peek of another layer.
But, isn’t it equally as cute on it’s own?! It also comes in brown and black.

Gimme a sweatshirt any day of the week! I feel like no matter what I start out wearing during the day, I always end up with a sweatshirt on by the end of the day.
This style is unique with the seaming, front pocket and raw edge hem at the bottom. Plus, the color is so flattering.
Sweatshirt Fit: I’m wearing an XS
I tried the Universal Thread brand high waist skinny jean and they’re good! And under $25! Can’t beat that! They’re designed to smooth and sculpt and there’s no gaping in the back waist.
I’m not surprised they have over 1,000 positive reviews. I’m wearing the Medium Blue, but there are several washes to choose from.
Jeans Fit: TTS, I’m wearing a 0. They were too long on me so I folded the hem up for a wide cuff.

I’m seeing more and more of these gauze textured tops and dresses lately. I feel like it adds a little something extra. This top in particular is versatile for work, especially if you’re a teacher!

What a cute and easy-to-wear baby doll dress! It slips over your head and the A-line style is effortless and looks great on everyone. The petite floral pattern is chic against the dark background and it even has pockets.
All you need to transition this dress to Fall is a bootie and either tan or black pairs perfectly.

LOUNGEWEAR
Oh man, #gimmealltheloungwear!  You’ll want to live in these joggers- they’re incredibly soft and comfortable. Nearly 1,000 women agree.
They’re a bit thicker than the next pair, making them appropriate for running errands, school pickup/drop off, etc.
The drawstring waist is functional, so you can tie them to fit.

This pair of joggers might even be softer, but they’re more of a pajama jogger. The material is on the thinner side, more for lounging at home and getting cozy on the sofa.

OMG, I’m so crazy for this pajama set! They’re the same style as the grey joggers above, but the lilac color is gorgeous and they even have a tiny stripe pattern on them.

And right now, the shorts might even be better! They fit perfectly and feel so good on!

If you like the Moonlight Dreams pajamas from Nordstrom, this pair from Target is about a dead ringer. They have the same softness (both a 95% model/5% spandex blend), stretch and are cool to the touch.
This pair is menswear inspired with the piping, but if you look close, it’s actually pale pink, not white!
Pajama Fit: I’m wearing an XS
This style is similar, with a crewneck pullover top and pull-on shorts. I’m curious which pair you would prefer.

1 • Floral print tops definitely say Fall and this puff sleeve style looks great untucked too.
2 • Peplum meets puff sleeves- a statement top for sure and in more colors.
3 • This is the sweatshirt I shared above and it goes with the darling paper bag waist shorts in #9.
4 • More puffed sleeves, but in a dress this time. It has a petite ruffled neck, delicate buttons and ties at the waist. It’s a great option for work on Monday to church on Sunday.

8 • I love how flattering paper bag waists are with a tucked in top or bodysuit. This pair comes in several Fall-friendly colors. Under $20!
9 • These are the shorts to pair with that cute #3 sweatshirt!
10 • You can wear these joggers casually with sneakers or dress em up with a heel. They’re a comfortable cotton blend and come in 6 colors. Size down though, they run large.
11 • Similar to the jeans I shared above, this pair is a straight leg, crop length, with a bit of distressing. They have a light wash and button fly.
12 • And this pair of jeans gives you the crop, straight leg style, without the rips. They come in 5 colors and are available in short and long lengths too.
