Hi friends! Yay for Friday and for the weekend and the end of the first week back to school. We made it! I think we are all pooped, even though it was just two days. The excitement and adrenaline of a new school year always gets the kids up early the first day or two, but by day three, it’s already lost its luster!
Thankfully, we have the weekend to catch our breath and recharge. We don’t have any plans on the agenda, but since it’s still so hot, maybe we’ll head to the pool to cool off.
I was really happy with the posts I shared this week and glad you enjoyed them too. I love organizing (see my closet here) and getting to arrange things in my new fridge was such a treat. I always share the best sales with you on Wednesday, and yesterday’s 15 Life Changing Books was a post near to my heart and I hope you picked up a few new reads from it!

I do these Amazon fashion try-on posts twice a month on Friday where I share my Amazon finds with you and how to style them into wearable outfits. I hope they’re helpful and give you ideas putting together your own outfits at home.

This skirt is darling and so easy to wear! Nearly 8,000 women agree!
I think it was the little embroidered heart that made this one a fan fave.
We’re still not over chevron! It’s the tank I wore here.
This maxi dress has the perfect streamlined silhouette with adjustable shoulders and pockets! It comes in several colors and patterns, but the pink is particularly pretty.

Did you notice I took my nails off? And let me tell you, removing dip nails at home is a gluey mess! I’m letting them go au natural for awhile and this cuticle oil has made them look so good! I use a tiny drop multiple times a day and it’s also prevented me from getting hangnails.

I think all of our underwear drawers look a little bit better thanks to these handy organizers.
This compact handheld steamer does the job and travels well.
For the college student or yourself, this laptop desk is genius and holds everything you need to keep handy.
I have these little jars on my bathroom counter and they hold the perfect amount of qtips and cotton rounds.
I can’t believe I didn’t get this pan rack sooner! I used to stack my pans on top of each other, but this keeps them separate and easy to grab, plus they don’t get scuffed up.

For Size Reference: I’m a shorty (5’1) and petite, weighing about 110. I typically wear size 0p/25 jeans, XS or XSP in tops and dresses. Lots of times the smallest size on Amazon is a Small, so in that case, that’s what I ordered.

TANKS
**MUST HAVE : Did you see this cami in my Tuesday Goodies this week?! It’s so good and I jumped when I saw the 4-pack of black was in stock in my size! I have them in the white/pink/grey/light blue combo and wear them all the time. They are the perfect cami because they fit so well with just the right amount of stretch, adjustable shoulder straps and a longer length.
I like to wear them as layering pieces under a button down, cardigan or jacket, but I also enjoy sleeping in them. Sometimes I even wear them under looser pajama tops so I feel like I have a little something next to my chest- but I don’t like to sleep in a bra.
Tank Fit : These run slightly small, I size up to a small
The shorts are another winner! They are great for lounging with a comfortable high waist, drawstring tie and pockets!
Shorts Fit : Not being sure of how these would fit, I ordered two sizes (XXS- wearing them in black here & XS- wearing in red below). Both fit, but I prefer my true size, XS and especially if they shrink a bit in the dryer.

I’m not hanging up my jean shorts just yet- it’s still 90 degrees here most days! This cutoff pair by Levi’s is what I’ve been reaching for most days. They’re perfectly relaxed and an easy, chic style. I also like that they have a hidden button fly.

I also found a short sleeve sweater top that’s lightweight enough to wear now. It has a springy texture to it and a relaxed fit. You could also dress it up with a pair of jeans or even slacks for work.

GRAPHIC TEES
Gimme all the graphic tees! Amazon has so many cool styles and all of the ones I ordered, I really liked! You may have seen this one yesterday in my 15 Life Changing Books post.
It says, “It’s a good day to read a book.” and of course, I have to agree. The sage green color and 70’s inspired font is fun too.
I’m wearing it with white skinny jeans by Levi’s. These jeans have been a go-to all summer! I like that they’re opaque with a high waist, perfect fit and a raw edge hem.

When I ordered this tee, it was $1.99, but I paid $10 for shipping! Glad it’s a keeper!
The “Take a Hike” tee is obviously too big, but the material is so soft and I love the pink! And a longer tee like this is perfect for tying a long sleeve button down around your waist.

Aww, I always love the “Be Kind” message and chose the navy color for this one, although you can choose from tons of colors.

I’ve already worn this tee a couple of times, it’s just so cute! The stripes are blue and white with a ruffled sleeve and sweet little red embroidered heart.
The skinny jeans are by Amazon Essentials and feel like a mix between a jean and a jegging. I find them very comfortable to wear and really flattering, giving you legs for days!

Aside from graphic tees, if your basic tees could use a refresh, I found two styles to share with you. This v-neck style is close fitting, but comfortable. It’s not boxy, but slightly dips in at the sides for a feminine shape. It’s got a rounded hem and looks great tucked in (which makes your legs look longer).

I bought a set of 2, and it came with the pink one above and this happy light blue and white stripe.

This v-neck tee is longer and more fitted, but also insanely soft. It’s nice and stretchy and comes in a rainbow of colors.

And I had to include a fun, night out top for ya! You won’t go unnoticed in this pop of pink. The ruched bodice is really comfortable and flattering, emphasizing the statement sleeves.

DRESSES
Moving on to dresses, you just cannot be in a bad mood when you’re wearing this dress. It’s fun and flirty, with flutter sleeves and pockets. It zips up the back and is totally non body-conscious. I also have this dress in “black floral dot” and it’s a winner too. If green is your color- I’m looking at you, Ali-Shaun, there’s a pretty shade available.

I love it when you find a summery dress this time of year that is Fall friendly . This dress is great for wearing now with the strapless maxi style, but it’s inching toward Fall with the warm tones mixed with pale blue. The ruched top is very comfortable and I felt confident it would stay put.
I will note that the sides of the dress I got was sewn in a way that made them stick out a bit, but I’m not sure if that’s just mine or how all of them are. It’s also pretty picky, but I wanted to let you know in case that bothered you. With the woven belt, you can’t tell.
Dress Fit: I’m wearing a Small and it’s not too long with a heel
If you have a wedding, fancy event or just want to get dressed up for an evening out, this silky dress is definitely a contender. It feels so good on your body and is really easy to wear. There’s nothing body conscious about it, but the tie belt makes sure you don’t get lost inside and helps define your middle.
Personally, I wish it hit me a couple of inches above the knee, but that’s #shortgirlproblems. It also comes in a hot pink!
Dress Fit: I’m wearing an XS
ACTIVEWEAR
A big, fat YAASSS to these bright pink leggings! I usually stick to black or dark colors on bottom, especially with leggings, but I couldn’t resist this cheerful color. And, once I actually put them on, I was sold!
They feel like second skin, being so silky smooth and not at all heavy. They have a high waist and a little front pocket that will fit your key.
**MUST HAVE : I’m wearing it with my go-to everyday tank. It’s not an athletic tank, just a basic tank that I wear alone in the summer with shorts and jeans, and also under cardigans. It’s perfect because it’s nice and stretchy with a scoop neck, longer length, and you can wear a regular bra with it!

I got this activewear top in a pack of two: this red and the pink below. It’s got a super cute cut with a crew neck, rolled shoulders, and hi/low shirttail hem. It’s also breathable with sweat wicking properties.

**MUST HAVE : I’m crazy for these leggings too, and have been for a long time. I was trying to think about how long I’ve had them and I know I wore them to the airport when I shot the Gibson Glam collaboration back in 2018, so it’s been several years and this.same.pair is still going strong!
I wore them to my workout this week on Wednesday!
They have a high waist that comfortably holds you in and the sides are seamless, which I really appreciate. I also love the 7/8 length as the goldilocks of leggings lengths for me.

SWIM
I still see some pool days in our future and this cover up is adorable. A mix of sundress meets swim coverup, it’s a flowy lightweight piece that slips over your head with buttons at the chest.
