Target Home Decor

Hi friends!  Welcome back to my blog and here’s to a fresh, new week!  We just got back from Florida yesterday and I’m exhausted in the best way.  It was such a great getaway and I can’t remember the last time I saw such clear water and white, sandy beaches.  Our weather started out rainy, but ended up gloriously sunny and warm.  I’ll be working on a trip recap to share with you soon.  In the meantime, I did share some pics on my Instagram. 🙂

But first, it’s all those after-vacay things that need to be done like grocery shopping and meal prep.  Thankfully, laundry isn’t too bad since we stayed in a house with a washing machine and dryer! 😉

Speaking of the house, it had the cutest decor, perfect for a beach town without being beachy-overload themed.  It got me thinking of decor and Target has some great accessories right now to freshen up your space at super affordable prices.  I still get so excited when I see their new lines each season!

Mirror • This antique brass oval shaped mirror is pure elegance, while still being affordable and on sale 40% off!

Throw • It only takes a few new throw pillows and throw blanket to update a space.  I like the textured feel and tassels on this one.

Mini Table Lamp • Isn’t this lamp cute?!  It adds charm to your desk or console table with a pretty gold base.

Pillow • Such a lovely floral pattern on this throw pillow and the neutral color will go with everything.

Lantern • I like decorating with lanterns because you can leave them bare for an architectural look, but also have fun filling them with vase fillers.

Table Cloth •  You can’t go wrong with a black and white striped tablecloth to protect your table from scratches and spills.  Any combination of florals would look great as a centerpiece.

Melamine Plates • I saw these melamine plates at my local Target and they’re so stylish!  They’re not only functional for your outdoor fun, but also work indoors.

Front Door Mat • Add a charming addition to your front doorway with this knotted mat for the front or back porch. The tight coil design helps keep shoes free of debris!

Woven Tray • I used to be a crazy basket lady and now I’m turning into a tray hoarder!  I find so many uses for them though!  From indoor to outdoor, holding things on your vanity, nightstand, coffee table or kitchen counter, and even for serving.  Please tell me I can’t have too many!

Jug • This decorative jug adds a rustic flare to any room.  Just add a few of your favorite stems or branches to bring the look to life.

Faux Plant • Target has come a long way with their faux plants.  I have two in James’ bathroom, and they’re also in my office and living room.  This beautiful faux fern looks great too.

  1. Happy Monday! I’m so glad you and your family had a great trip! I have to say that I was sure hoping for at least a compassionate comment on the families who lost loved ones or whose loved ones are still missing in the rubble in the condo collapse. Especially since you were there in the same state.
