Yay for FRIDAY! I swear, you’d think a short week would be great, but it really threw me off! Maybe the problem was more that I didn’t sleep well and also missed two workouts. When you’re in such a groove, missing those sweat sessions makes you realize how beneficial they are and how good they make you feel.

Now onto today’s dressing room post! If you’re new to my blog, hi and welcome! I share these dressing room posts every month so you can get ideas for your own wardrobe and see how to mix and match things to make your outfits go further. It’s also fun to see what’s new!

I’m loving the ease of this shorts outfit with the comfort of pull-on style shorts and the flirty ruffle sleeve top to dress it up a little. You’ll feel more put together than when you’re wearing jean shorts, but will be just as comfortable.
The shorts were going fast, but still a couple different patterns available.

These are the same style short, in a grey/white stripe. I like how this neutral will go with all of your solid tops and you can even pair a print with it if you like that look. I have the solid blue shorts too and the color is pretty!

This top has already been worn on repeat! It’s got a feminine floral pattern on a white background with a smocked bodice and 3/4 length sleeves. I feel like it’s very figure flattering with peplum shape.

JEANS OUTFITS
Y’all know I’m crazy for the white crop jeans below, and I liked them so much I ordered the black pair! The crop ankle and split side hem makes even dark jeans feel summery.
Jeans Fit: I’m wearing a 00P- I sized down in this pair and do think they fit better
I’m also still a year-round sweatshirt gal and this one is great for the warmer months since it’s short sleeve! It’s also so cute with a puff sleeve. I’m partial to the grey, but the pink, rust and green all caught my eye too!

Same top with the white crop jeans! The high waist on these jeans is so comfortable and they go with everything!

I also found two new pair of jeans at Express that I’m smitten with. This first pair is a high waist crop jean with a raw edge hem. They have a lot of stretch, so they’re extra easy to wear. In fact, I wore them the rest of the day after I took these photos. I really like how well they fit in the waist too- no gaping!
Jeans Fit: I’m wearing a 0 – I wish they came in petite, so they’d be a little shorter, but since they’re a raw edge hem, I can just cut a straight line with scissors
I’m not usually a fan of yellow or orange on me, but I think for summer, this top works and will look great with white jeans. I’m planning to wear it on a future date night! It ties around your back, showing some skin, but you can still hide your strapless bra.

I’m also finding that this white clutch with wooden handle looks great with so many things! And, it’s a decent size that will hold everything you need. You can hold it by the handle, carry it underneath, or wear it under your arm.
So cute, right?! I wore this strapless bra with it and it was mostly hidden.

Here’s the rust colored one that will easily take you into Fall. It also comes in a fresh white, olive green and black.

This is no boring white tee, it definitely packs a punch with those statement puff sleeves! It’s so comfortable though because it’s a t-shirt material in the body, but the sleeves are taffeta. It would be perfect worn with a skirt to a party and it also comes in black.

The high neckline makes it the perfect backdrop for a statement necklace. I’m still wearing the Target double strand necklace on repeat! It also looks great with these Target earrings.

I also found a few fun night or party-ready tops. You can pair these with blue jeans, white jeans and even skirts. This first one is adorable with an all-over eyelet pattern that’s fully lined underneath. It zips up the back and the sleeves sit off shoulder. The sweetheart neckline is a flirty touch.

How about these flare jeans?! I’m crazy for them! They have a high waist and a raw edge hem and just a little distressing at the left knee. They definitely give you legs for days, especially with the darker wash. I have to say, I’m really liking these non-skinny jean options for a change!

The top is a keeper for a date night too. I love the crisp white material and wrap front with pleated peplum. It’s also smocked in the back.

If you want to go vibrant, try this red eyelet peplum top. It has a little mock neck and puff sleeves and would look so good with a red lip!

A tucked-in top will make your legs look even longer in these jeans. This bodysuit has a square neck and adorable shoulder strap ties. It’s a thong style and comes in several neutral colors.

Another darling tie shoulder top in the lovliest shade of turquoise! It’s a stretchy knit body with a cotton bow tie at the shoulders. It looks so fresh with these high waist white jeans from Amazon.

DRESSES
If you’re in need of a dress, I have several super cute options! Everything from mini to maxi and white to vibrant stripes!
This dress is a fun take on denim. It’s a ruffle sleeve mini tunic dress with modern raw edge detail. It slips easily over your head and is quite roomy, perfect for lunch!

If you have a fiesta to attend, you’ll be the belle of the ball in this eye catching dress! The colors are so lively! It’s definitely a special one with ruffled tiers, flutter sleeves and it ties in the back. There’s also front slant pockets.

From bold stripes to solid white, this wrap dress is a beauty and I felt elegant in it. I could see you wearing it to your hubby’s work party or other weekend event where you want to look chic and classy. It has a subtle texture to it and is also lined.

I feel like going apple picking in this dress! It’s a sunshine yellow with floral pattern and the fit is just right. It’s got a sweetheart neckline and puffled sleeves and a smocked back.

Here’s another all white dress that you’ll look so chic in. The material is really soft and stretchy and I was surprised by how comfortable it was on. It’s easy to walk in and the little gold buttons are purely decorative. I love how long and lean this dress makes you look, and the addition of puff sleeves makes it more playful. It also comes in black.

Aren’t the ruffled shoulders on this maxi dress cute?! And the little side slit adds a bit of va va voom, without being over the top. It’s a really pretty shade of peachy/pink and the back is smocked.

Y’all, this dress is a surprise hit! When I pulled it out of the package, it looked really big, but on, it’s so sweet! It’s a silky smooth maxi with adjustable shoulder straps, but the back hangs down lower to expose your back. It’s so sexy from behind.
STYLE TIP : You’ll need to go braless or wear this genius invisible sticky bra. I was so impressed with how well this works, especially with my 34D girls! They have a sticky adhesive that really keeps the girls up and in place. You put on each side first, then fasten it in the middle. I got a size C and that fit perfectly. Only $14!
Dress fit: I’m wearing an XSP, would still prefer XXSP so I recommend sizing down
Doesn’t this dress just say SUMMER?!?! It’s all over white eyelet goodness and it’s fully lined. The ruffle at the top and double ruffle hem are too cute!

I didn’t forget my #TEAMROMPER ladies! This one is elevated with a more structured shape, but still really comfortable. It’s belted with a puff sleeve, has pockets and criss-crosses in front. You would be stunning in this at a Summer party where everyone is wearing a dress and you stand out in the shorts romper!

This might be one of my most favorite in the whole bunch! It’s also all over white eyelet, but in a jumpsuit! LOVE IT!! The top is even better with a peplum shape, scallop edge trim and pockets. You step into it and it zips up the back.
It’s the cutest thing and totally unique!

Switching gears to chambray, this jumpsuit is easy breezy with the wide leg, ruffled shoulder straps and smocked tie chest. I added the belt and I think that made it look even better!

Last romper for ya and I think it would be perfect for a bride! It’s got intricate embroidery at the top and silky shorts with an embroidered trim. It zips up the back and isn’t at all sheer. Plus, it comes with the cute tie belt.

This is so adorable! It’s a coverup, but shorts romper style! So fun! I like the pink and aqua colors and the straps are adjustable.

I have to give a special shout out to these braided sandals! The style is on trend and there’s almost nothing they don’t go with! You can wear them with jeans, shorts, dresses, jumpsuits, skirts- you name it! The heel isn’t too high and they’re even comfortable on my bunion feet! 😉
I hope you got some outfit inspo from this post! We just need it to stop raining so we can head outside without getting all wet! I swear, it’s been weeks and weeks of rain, but we do have a couples’ date night planned for tomorrow night! Maybe I’ll wear that yellow peplum top to add my own ray of sunshine to my life!
